Like you said, like your Peanut, my cats are so precious, sweet and loving and I love being their mommy. I can't imagine a world if we couldn't have these wonderful little animals in our lives. This is adorable. When my Sheltie was a pup, he was small enough that we would bathe him in the laundry sink. Now he's a bit too big so he just stands quietly in the shower, just like yours. He lives for the towel drying though, loves to play tug of war with them.

When we got our second sheltie, Skippy (who is a silly Sheltie-guy), he was about 3-4 and he was really scared, especially when it thunder stormed. But when my mom brushed him and sung to him a little he just relaxed and felt much more relaxed and it was the starting phase of him bonding with the family.

My darling Sheltie,has just died,he had a undiagnosed tumour on his spleen,no warning,no symptons,i miss him a lot,seeing your little one,made me cry,but i realize now that i want another one.
It broke my heart when our first sheltie Cocoa died, our house seemed so empty and cold...we didn't think we'd get another one, but about 2 weeks later, we did! The one we got was Zoe, now we have Peanut...you can never replace but you can love again! It's like having multiple children, you love them all the same yet they are all different! I urge you to get another one...it saved my heart!

also, i think shes so calm, because dogs can sense your feelings, so if you are calm and singing and happy, she wont be as frightened because she realizes there is nothing to be afraid of, GREAT voice by the way!!!!!!

Zoe had a REAL hard time with it at first! I actually thought "What have I done?" But...given some time and Zoe realized she was not being replaced...now she loves her to pieces!

I notice they all have the same mannerisms,cheeky and feisty--mine chased a big burly gas man down our drive,he thinks he,s a rottweiller,all 20 pound of him.
Actually that was me being "gracefull" caught it on a piece of metal. She's a sweetheart, and has gotten SO BIG! My computer has been down and I haven't been able to make any videos...I can't wait to get some on here! She's a card!!

Ours is also a tri. His ears would all flatten out when my wife carried him. My wife is definitely the alpha in our family - lol.
"Best" is funny when it applies to one's dog, spouse, or kids. Anyone can claim to have the best dog and the statement is no less valid. :o)

I notice they all have the same mannerisms,cheeky and feisty--mine chased a big burly gas man down our drive,he thinks he,s a rottweiller,all 20 pound of him.

That's one exceptional cute puppy.
We also has a sheltie. One of his many nicknames is "peanut" (he loves to eat and his body shape shows it).
I noticed some scratches on your forearm.
Did she bit you with those cute baby teeth. :o)

Actually that was me being "gracefull" caught it on a piece of metal. She's a sweetheart, and has gotten SO BIG! My computer has been down and I haven't been able to make any videos...I can't wait to get some on here! She's a card!!

It's the only thing that makes her bath go smoothly...still being a puppy, she's easily soothed...just like a baby. We luv her to pieces!
