@skillsandgear There is a defense against bad guys using CCTB. You ask them to hold your wallet and cell phone. That ties up one of their hands and you can then run away.

@TheRiggenbach I really don't know. But uppers are not regulated, tracked etc because they are not a firearm. Barrels, slides, charging handles, whatever the manufacturers do not control themselves (aftermarket trigger groups etc) can be purchased without an FFL because they are not a firearm. Handgun frames, lowers, other rifle's receivers are defined as such. I doubt the assault and brandishing laws in your state are specific enough to protect you from prosecution.. I wouldn't try it. ;)
You wouldn't happen to offer training classes, would you? 4 years ago I bought a GLOCK 19. It's still locked away in its case. I don't want to even think about looking at it until I have proper training. For the past 4 years I've looked everywhere and have not found any courses that cover realistic scenarios, until now. I find your techniques to be the most useful for real world scenarios. Even though the information would be priceless, please let me know how much you would charge for training.

This is an opportunity. A holster that only holds the receiver. Coupled with a combination magazine pouch and slide/barrel carrier. Slide and barrel together or separate compartments could be an option.
That's a combination that will make the chamber empty carriers feel even more safe.

@iamcrimsonspecter2 Touching a gun with anything, even wet concrete, can cycle the slide and trigger. Be careful a bullet doesn't fall into the mixture and work its way into the barrel when you're pouring the concrete, otherwise you might get shot in the face.

Whilst you have presented an outstanding tacticool approach to quickly defending yourself, I must point out that I take issue with your FAILING to properly LUBRICATE your weapon during the assembly process. A few more face slaps or spits would have allowed you to ensure that your slide would glide without friction, thus adding to it's stealth attributes.

Most importantly what I have learned from ALL of you is owning a gun is a LIFE STYLE CHANGE.... Every shot fired in defense has a lawyer or prosecutor attached to it, etc. WE are held to a higher standard of conduct.

I think in order to be the most responsible gun owner you could be, you must first start by showing the assailant your receipt for the gun prior to brandishing the frame. Just make sure you have a large enough copy for him to see without him getting too close. I'm guessing a 24" by 36" poster-board will be the appropriate size to show the assailant and the most comfortable to carry around on a daily basis.
Brother, not to be a safety sally but, you should have that gun frame in a safe and not on you. You can have it in your car truck or better drive home to get it.

I carry the business card of my local gun store on me, and if I perceive a deadly threat at any time, I pull out the business card, show it to my attacker, and announce, "Stop. I have the means to order a firearm at any time and have it delivered to me within a week or two!"

@Christopher71488 In California you must carry empty shell casings, bullets, gunpowder and primers in separate locked containers and assemble working cartridges as well...I think it is called Butterscotch Plus 1.....
I saw on another video that you said you lost subs on this video. Well you just gained one that was pretty funny for spur of the moment. As for the best method of carry? I use the SSSE method. Same gun, Same place, Same way every time. It has worked pretty well for 50 years so far.

That's too dangerous. I prefer Carry Condition Delayed Hope... I carry the business card of my local gun store on me, and if I perceive a deadly threat at any time, I pull out the business card, show it to my attacker, and announce, "Stop. I have the means to order a firearm at any time and have it delivered to me within a week or two!"

I saw on another video that you said you lost subs on this video. Well you just gained one that was pretty funny for spur of the moment. As for the best method of carry? I use the SSSE method. Same gun, Same place, Same way every time. It has worked pretty well for 50 years so far.
