Being that they consulted with Foucan on Mirror's Edge I'm inclined to give them the benefit of the doubt. Also working in the games industry myself I know too well sometimes you need to favor doing somethings in a way that the audience understands versus what is actual.
what i am afraid of the most, is that they simplify the controls due to the fact that some people couldn't understand them. I think the controls were, as the creators said, intuitive and easy and fluid. Mirror's edge even made me start learning parkour in montreal! so yea...since you work in the industry, if by any means you have the connections to get the message to DICE not to simplify the controls it would be great! if u try the game i'd be glad to know what you thought ok?? im interested
While it's a small industry it's not that small that everyone knows everyone or that everyone can influence each others decisions. What you can do is write into DICE yourself and let them know your concerns as a gamer and consumer.
While I haven't played Mirror's Edge, it is typical for developers to start refining the game to better suit the ideas the have in mind. Not always but usually for the better. It's up to the consumer whether to trust developers with your entertainment interests. ;)

actually, girls have got naturally more fat than guys, and guys have more muscle which is why we weigh more. muscle weighs more than fat, but muscle also helps parkour.
girls are typically more flexible though, but the majority of remotely physically fit guys are flexible enough to do almost everything in parkour.

When doing all those parkour moves its alot harder to see what your doing in 1st person. Some people like 3rd person better. They should have made it so you could do either 1st or 3rd person :). It would have made alot more hits.
The graphics are pretty good, but its a bit off to me. I cant really put my finger on it though. Other than that it looks pretty good. Even though I honestly perfer Tomb Raider Underworld :P.

From the footprint, the heel of her foot is hitting the ground during her sprint. In parkour you learn to sprint on the ball of your foot.
Understandably, having it that way for the logo was probably a purely artistic decision on behalf of EA artists.

When doing all those parkour moves its alot harder to see what your doing in 1st person. Some people like 3rd person better. They should have made it so you could do either 1st or 3rd person :). It would have made alot more hits.
The graphics are pretty good, but its a bit off to me. I cant really put my finger on it though. Other than that it looks pretty good. Even though I honestly perfer Tomb Raider Underworld :P.

i like the whole concept and everything, although i dont like the game being so short. and i have to agree with spiceuvlife that its kinda shamed that u just run. (i dont have the game yet,but im buying it, so what i jsut said is what i have seen and recieved from the clips, trailers etc and my bro who played and finished the game) but i have to say that graphics are fucking amazing, and the gameplay itself (the 1st person thingy)
