  • I'm so glad Barb received what she needed in the last episode...I always admired her character so much. She was always so diplomatic, calm and really was the brains. She always tried to apply understanding to common sense. I will miss this show! Anybody know where you can go to see episodes you missed? Thanks in advance.

  • i think i like barb the best...especially with the last season what with her divorce to bill and all - it's all very intriguing...

  • Inspite of all the crap that goes on on this show, I think Nikki and Bard are actually pretty close.

  • This show is freakin wierd

  • I am trying to understand how polygamy is illegal if you haven't actually been legally married to another one. These guys have one legal wife and then the others married according to their belied instead of legal documents. The problems the "Big Love" cast face is mindboggling. I would jump off a cliff. Yet, how is it illegal?

  • @MsHamidian I think the concern is cultural implication. Stepping away from a tv show and the way they portray polygamy, in real life it might be there are concerns that specific polygamous groups "force" or brainwash their children into this. So the law is to protect the young. However, by making people hide I am not certain whether you prevent or just loose track of whether there is a problem and its severity.

  • i totally took a nap on that bed like 3 hours before this was shot.

  • What episode is 1:21 from? Please tell me!

  • @haleyjustinkerri season 1, episode 5. if I'm not mistaken it's titled, 'the affair.'

  • poligamy is crazy xD even more if you practise it because of a so called "principle" of a religion. If you choose it because you're crazy all by yourself it's...ok. But if you practise it because it's right!my religion says so!, you're...really smallminded, kinda "brainwashed" by your education and place of birth, it's not your fault...but it's a sad anyways

  • i knew this show would be a refuge for ppl wanting to apply such a degrading lifestyle.

They refuse to see they don't take a stand exept against the compound but Bill is always kinda average. He would be nothing without his wives' advices.

Anna, Sarah and Barb are not convinced by the "principle".

Let's all rest assured anyway that polygamy is illegal and that women's right trump cultural ones at the international level. THANK GOD

  • MORmONISM IS PURE BS!

  • A bunch of stuck-ups...which means they are doing their jobs as actors. The characters can be soooo irritating!

  • I Love this show. Of course things are not 100% depiction but of course nothing is 100%. It's supposed to entertainment close to reality, not REALITY!!! It's fun! Thanks Mr. Hanks

  • This is the only positive portrayal of polygamy I've ever seen. wow. How is that possible?

  • because most people don't WANT to see the good side; they ignore it altogether.

  • @drewskione This is not necessarily a positive view of polygamy just and unbiased one. I know that I see plenty of problems such as all of the characters seem as if they are living solely on what they have been told and completely neglect rational or gut feeling. You, on the other hand see this as positive (or at least that's what I thought from your comment). I don't think polygamy can ever be positive. Either marry one person or don't marry at all. But like everything this is subjective.

  • @godusote It's actually the notion that being faithful to a loved one is the greatest feat a man can achieve that brainwashes people against polyygamy, not visa-versa. The struggles you see arise from a cultural, not inherent, belief that marriage means the unity between a single man and a single woman. You need to remember how common the practice is in Africa and many other parts of the world.

I think having children with one person is imperative in light of the current world population, btjm

  • @drewskione I like Big Love, but I think you have to be married to understand how polygamy couldn't work. Marriage is impossible without love. That's true, passionate, wildly in love sort of love. That sort of love takes all of your energy. How can you possibly have that for more than one person? I feel like it must end up the way it is when you pick two best friends. One of them ends up becoming a better friend to you and the other - a third wheel...

  • I love this show!

  • they r all selfish and dishonest, and now joey killed Roman.he was the best character in the show....I'll still watch though...
