@Modernfieldrecording it's not just sometimes.... it's WHO hears it :/ which is almost too bad, cuz all deyarmond edison is fantastic, though we can't complain too much, cuz if they made it bigger than they did (cuz they did alright) then we may never have heard the bon iver effect :)

@Modernfieldrecording oh yea, i was talking about the business aspect.. the fact that they didn't "make it" just because the right person didn't hear them is a shame... though you may be right, now that i think of it, this style was a little ahead of their time

@spinasweetness @spinasweetness yeah it is lame for sure, on a side note though every time i put on DYE when people are over someone references the counting crows to me. these are people that listen to bon iver as well. it makes me feel that for a lot of people to really hear something it has to be so different from the large amount of other music out there so as to give it its own playing field and a spot in their heads.
