What an amazing TvZ. Calm was an absolute blast to watch. I wish I had the skill to pull off a build like that. His heavy-handedness was a joy to behold, and the infestation of FBH's Command Centre was just the perfect way to cap this game off XD.

I think that 3rd base Calm took at the 11 was really risky - FBH looked like, for a moment, he could have walked right up and taken that base out, but he didn't, so Calm's gambit returned a nice advantage that FBH couldn't keep up with.

Calm took that base in order to conceal his build. If he had placed his 3rd in a normal location where it might have been scouted or scanned as going up early, FBH would have realized that Calm had gone with a lurker build.

man FBH wasn't himself this entire match. he wasn't aggressive at all, he let Calm expand at will while he himself was stuck on 2 bases throughout most of the match, got his additional 2 expos very very late... Calm did his thing, all the fake outs didn't really work but they did keep FBH in the dark, which might have made him play so passively.

the thing is, if the Terran doesn't harass the Zerg economy at all, nor take down bases, than the Zerg will overrun you no matter what you do...

I disagree. If you take a TvZ and have neither player harass I think the Terran will come out better, so long as his push starts before Hive tech.

well, if the Terran is stuck on 2 bases there's no way in hell he can beat an expansionist Zerg without inflicting any economic harassment. now if the Terran manages to take a 3rd and even a 4th base than yes he will be in a much better position to hold off a non harassed Zerg, unless the Zerg gets 3+ bases ahead of the Terran that is...

in this case it was pretty much a 5 bases vs 2 which meant that FBH needed to inflict some economic harassment to give himself a winning chance...

no do you know sk terran? pro terrans have such good micro they do not need tanks from 2+ factories to beat it. for noobs on the other hand its impossible without masses of tanks. but lurker ling defiler requires alot of skill and apm aswell
