Aussies can handle it. Just my opinion, and I'm from New Zealand where X Factor Australia has higher ratings than the US version.

They put bad people through for shits & giggles, they know that (most of them) and the judges know that. What if you were up there listening to crappy singer after crappy singer, its difficult not to laugh after a period of time. They are quite obviously making something of their lives if they are rich & have fans and well...you don't.

The judges are only laughing at them because there are auditions before this one. You have to audition to audition and these ones are scripted so the judges are basically told to laugh when they are bad. It's pretty gay but the contestants already know they are gonna be laughed at.
