If a woman voluntarily agrees to go to a man's hotel room at 2am, even if it is done in complete innocence, it will then make it very difficult to prove that rape took place instead of consensual sex.

My understanding is that if there is a reasonable doubt then the defendant should be found not guilty. Tyson may well have raped her but a woman going to a man's hotel room at 2am would surely cause sufficient doubt to make it almost impossible to prove Tyson guilty.
