I agree it was stupid phrasing The point was I'm proud and want to show it off but yes definitely a poor choice of words. they followed us for years and everyone slips up. Not my proudest moment :)

@mbandpal Your break down doesn't quite have the same snappy, comedy phrasing. It's comedy, not an academic essay. Ask stand-ups 2 explain + DILUTE their jokes + there is no humour. Analyse a joke 2 much + it's not a joke any more. I don't think Maysoon should be criticised 4 using humour to promote understanding or her culture. It's a shame you've been made 2 feel u should apologise Maysoon. I can't help feeling there's some "look at the girlie trying 2 make a funny" condescension going on.
