Craig is obviously ahead of his time... He doesn't think about comparative pandering. He looks at the so- called "big picture"... He knows himself, i'm sure on every level... He's connected to a different medium(spiritually, emotionally, philosophically ect) . Its almost transcendental when he sings... Look at his eyes, mannerisms, original riffs/lyrics... The book "Talent is Overrated" plainly forgot to include him as an example of how people get so good...
