Other than being quiet and looking like the computer is driving you, what advantage does this have? It charges the same amount of nitrous and you stay the same speed.
I do know if you do that in Ridge Racer (PS1) you gain a speed boost, but what is special about this?

go watch the people play online, when they drift they charge almost 3 tanks of nitrous every time
