But when campaigning Obama promised to open the health care debates to the public but after getting power flip flopped. Even if you like Obama, just be honest and admit that he dropped the ball on that part. Don't lose credibility by defending him even when he's just plain wrong.

The same argument can be made for the current healthcare system in America when we have to wait on Insurance companies to decide if we qualify for certain medical treatments. That insurance company might say Sarina's father does not even need a new knee. And no, there is no Free Healthcare. It's paid for by taxes or single-payer systems. Opponents used the town hall meetings to protest solutions, not to reach consensus.

Every other meeting of the 9/11 commission was reported on. But Bush and Cheney covered their asses in an unprecedented manner. There was some mild protest in the press, then nothing. Personally, yes--I think what Bush and Cheney hid from the press was worse than this instance of what Obama did.

Nixon ordered his flunkies to break into Democratic National headquarters and steal information; Reagan sold arms to Iran (on whom we had an embargo at the time) to fund an illegal war in Nicaragua; Bush 43 denied the numerous reports coming back from Iraq saying there were no weapons of mass destruction found. And please, stop pointing fingers at Bush in order to take the attention away from this adminstration being responsible for its actions.

Obama is, IMO, the worst president in American history. Thank God for people like Cafferty, who still can speak out against injustice.
