It is simply in poor focus as well as the streetlamp messing with its auto adjustments...white balence etc...it comes into slightly better focus as it moves away from the Large Light Source directly in front of the camera. Anyone who knows about filming with a little digital camera like this can tell you that when filming an object in a dark sky with a bright light directly in between you and it, will cause the camera to be a bit screwy.
