Also, you failed to mention in your video that two Republicans signed off on the report with the majority Democrats, and the report EXACTLY corroborates the claims by former Bush administration staff: Scott McClellan, Richard Clarke, and Paul O'Neill that the Bush Administration overstated the Iraq threat and used propaganda to sell the war ... not to mention the recently uncovered Pentagon military propaganda program. Your attempt to save face here for Bush is pathetic and authoritarian.

You can sit there and say, 'well, Bush lied on only 6 out of 16 issues,' when a trillion dollars is spent, tens of thousands of US are dead and/or maimed for life, and millions of Iraqis are dead and/or displaced,their country is in ruins, there's massive US contractor fraud with billions of dollars missing, the war has no end in sight and our allies have abandoned us... you can sit there on youtube and justify those lies? Polls have CONSISTENTLY shown that the public was sold the lie of a Saddam 9/11 link. This is particularly apparent in an '03 USA Today poll where 70% of Americans polled believed the link. A '05 Harris poll showed 47% believed the Saddam 9/11 link, and 41% believe this in a '07 Newsweek poll.

These polls are evidence that Bush misled America but what is most stunning is the Zogby Poll of Feb 28,'06 that shows 90% of US military think war is retaliation for Saddam's role in 9/11.

I understood the weapons in the resolution were referring to ones that were not found in the inspections of the 80's, which if they had asked a weapons expert at the time, could have told them they had a shelf life and were useless. Like the head of that inspection, Scott Ridder.

Your own Pentagon report of 600,000 translated Iraqi documents concluded there was no operational link between AQ and Saddam. None. Regardless, do you believe that 10 of 16 corroborations is a fitting ratio to justify "acceptable collateral damage?" Wouldn't you, on the eve of air strikes, be a little concerned about those 6 lies, and the longterm ramifications? Gosh, I dunno... As president, I'd sure want my story straight before I risked my 80% approval rating and alienated the entire world.
