    Nah I don't agree.. U2 has way more simple riffs and U2 didn't use any keyboards back then.. ;)

  • @MrDemilord Totally agree, those early Minds were far more complex than anything U2 had released. I just meant that Charlie's guitar sounded like these chimes characteristic of The Edge's playing

  • @christos1973 Yes I think hte Edge got it from Charlie, because U2 started to use this technics with the Joshua Tree in 87.. Charlie started to use it in 82 with New gold dream ;)).. U2 also got inspired a lot by new gold dream
