1.- I call from USA my cellphone's friend in Peru & this friend decided that instead using his cellphone 2 call me back while I'm holding n line, he hang up & call me back from a LANDLINE phone, r we gonna still able 2 have the free internacional call?

Is this way able to do?

2.- Can he calls me from any phone n Peru or have 2 b the same cellphone number that I added @ my rebtel account?

3.- Can I give my cousin the same number that my friend used to call me back so he can call me from his 2

Ok, I have a question. For example, if I call Sydney or Mexico city and the person in those countries get the local number to call me back, can they still use the number they had to call me back anytime? or is it only at the time I ask them to call me back? does the number get deactivated after a certain period of time? Please explain

@F1Bronco Yes, they will still be able to call you on that number whenever they like. If your friends calls you on that number without you hanging up and calling back up, you will be charged the Rebtel rate for the call. This is called a Collect Call. Happy calling!

@Andragon90 You would not pay for the international part of the call while your friend called you back. Even though you don't have any credit in your Rebtel account, you still have 10 seconds to call your friend and ask him or her to call you back. Happy calling!

if my friend doesn't have a caller id on their phone(some landline numbers), how can he/she know which number to call back. Is there any way to get those call back numbers before hand and let them know via text or any other means????????

@dewasushil Hi there, After adding a contact, click on the original number in the contact list and a bit further down there's is an option that says "XXXX can you back - Find out how". Click on that option and you'll get the number your friend can call you back on. Like you already mentioned, this is handy for users calling friends or family using a landline and don't have Caller ID. Thanks!

tried making free calls to Australia and South Africa (both on rebtel countries list) it didnt work. The calls were deducted from 5 minutes welcome credit. Free calls thing is false, just for advertising purposes, dont fall for it!

@notoriousft When your friend in Australia picks up the phone, ask him to call you back on the local Australian number displayed on his phone. While he does that, you stay on the line and the call is re-connected within seconds leaving you with a free international call.

You pay nothing for the call to Rebtel. However, if you don't have included minutes in your monthly plan you will be charged by your regular carrier for the local part of the call.

@RebtelNetworks but when you first make the call (at least for a few seconds) you are charged as 'direct call'. When our first five minutes are up we wont be able to make free calls (if we can establish free calls of course)

if he calls back, it will be free for him also. because when you call that person, it will show as a local number for him. then he uses that local number to call you; therefore, it will be free for both.

i actually don't get it.. the website says the first call is free, but is this video saying that as long as the countries you're in are within the rebtel countries then you can call for free always?

@kimtothexbo Hey! There are two different call types, Direct Calls and Free Calls. When using Direct Calls, you get a local number to call your friend on instead of their usual international number. Whenever you want to reach your friend you call that local number and you're charged a small per-minute rate by Rebtel.

Free Calls are the same only that you have to ask the person on the other end to call you back, as explained in the video.
