This song is protesting descrimination. If you note the main line of the chorus: "Do you hate her because she's pieces of you?" It's saying that people senselessly hate other people because they remind them of their own problems and their own issues that they choose not to deal with. I'm not sure if this is true in every situation, but I've seen plenty of closet case homosexuals that are homophobic.

this is ridiculous... this does not at all convey the message she tries to convey. i laugh at how dumb she portrays different groups of people because it's so nonesensical. good "intentions," but very poor execution. i am offended despite the purpose so it basically adds a more negative affect than reversing the hate.
