  • they should have said that god said in the bible that diseases were caused by demon and they should pray to cure it lol

  • @samanthajayable My bad, the documentary--

  • @samanthajayable I'm not going to buy the book by the same author of "Islam is of The Devil"

  • The first ancient culture to use 0 was Gupta scholars (possibly earlier)

  • I love Matt, dancing included.

  • There's a documentary called the "The History of number one" by Terry Jones; he talks about the way numbers like 1 and 0 traveled from India to the Arab countries through trade.

  • 0 was invented by the Indians. The Arabs took this from them and introduced it the Europeans. That's why they are called the Hindu-Arabic numerals.

  • These guys did their homework you cant change somebodys thinking thats why christians are so brainwashed they need god to be real they are scared to not have somebody to think there right all the time.

  • The callers tone changed real quick! I love this show they represent The non beleif in god soo good.

  • A childrens science book is more useful then the bible.

  • @spiegeltn what dont u get u gonna need more then ur verses in the bible to convince us that its true...r science books beat ur bible anyday out the week..boo yae

  • @Rizon513 You cant compare science with religion. Any decently smart person knows that.

  • That was the best intro to anything ever

  • i had one of those cow toys when i was kid

  • The bible and many other books like it are dictators tools which are used to keep people scared and unlearned so that they can easily be controlled and manipulated to do amoral deeds end of story. There is no further argument that it is not religions clear intention to control people, and you can't argue it with any positive as a literary construct.

  • proof against any God if numbers are right !!!.please let me know if my calculations are wrong. I feel that these numbers match perfectly. one is point where total space in universe curve touches the reciprocal curve of Total density((Total mass+energy)/Total space

I believe the number assigned to (Total mass+energy) should be one and can represent 100% which is always one. im guessing the speed of light should also be counted as one. I feel it should fit this equation.

  • of course not! Especially when it's cancer for women! I totally prefer any and all disease I created for womenkind!

  • Can God spoon feed me a new kidney? Kinda need one.

  • Concept of zero was invented by the Hindus and it spread to Europe by Italian mathematician Fibonacci via middle East. Hence it is called the Hindu-Arabic number system which we all use today. Arabs get credit here for nothing(no pun intended).

  • Actually, God did reveal Gauss' Law in Song of Solomon12:13... "And yay, if the charge of yon particle should be represented with a line or curve, and if yon particle can be imagined to be contained within a sphere or other like shape, then the totality of yon field electric shalt be proportional to the electric charge enclosed within, just as a bundle of myrrh might be enclosed by my breasts, and represent my lover." What, was God supposed to derive Gauss' Law of magnetism for you too? Jeez!

  • So God gets created for all knowledge because he gave me a brain BUT *I* am entirely responsible when my rational brain causes me to doubt his existence? riiight.. lol

  • You know, the caller is right...I'm sitting here talking to God, this all powerful, mystical being that no one has ever seen, and it's like any dull day...But then he tells me that I should wash my hands, I'm like, "Holy shit...mind blown!"

  • that guy in the crown made some really good points

  • Where is part 2?

  • If god was real, why would he make me an atheist?

  • this jeremy guy, is the worst caller ever.

  • @TheFrustratedAtheist had worse in my opinion.

  • @TheFrustratedAtheist

yeah, he had nothing. and they completely crushed him at the end

and the thing with the bacteria and the boils. boils are caused by bacteria - which does NOT imply the existence of a god causing them. And bacteria is "unseen" to humans because they are too small for us to see. it's not the same as a god who is being kept unknown to add that fear element in - bacteria CAN be seen with microscopes, so their existence is proven

  • @infernalone666 he is a nutter. you are exactly right. i trust in science, because 1. observation 2. hypothesis 3. testing 4. conclusion i reject religion because 1. assertion 2. assertion 3. assertion 4. anger and threats
  • @TheFrustratedAtheist

i would definitely replace one of those assertions with 'thinking impossible things exists merely because they want them to'

that gets me quite a bit. merely believing is no logistic. life has showed us quite well that things don't happen just by wanting it to or asking nicely!

  • @infernalone666 exactly.

the other thing that pisses me off, is people who try to prove the existing of god by discrediting evolution, then jumping onto the bio-genesis topic. it seems a bit strange that in the religious mind there is only two options and if you throw shit at one, it makes the other true, contrary to any evidence and examination of the evidence.

  • @TheFrustratedAtheist

see, the thing is that evolution discredits their god, their creationism and their genesis - and priests used genesis to control people and make them inadequate for something they were never alive to do.

remember that they discredit evolution because they want to cling to their mind-controlling book

  • @infernalone666 One Book to rule them all,

    One Book to find them,

One Book to bring them all

and in the darkness bind them

  • @TheFrustratedAtheist

LOL. you too? you also compare the bible to the one ring?

  • @infernalone666 haha, they are both works of fiction, with the same purpose.

  • @TheFrustratedAtheist

not even that, but tolkien's inherently catholic attempts on fiction to make the 'dark lord' a bad guy defined god instead

    -an entity

    -all-seeing

    -corrupts natural orders

    -preoccupied with conquering the world

-uses brainwashed legions to do his bidding

    -speaks through servants

-expects his plans to be done with a magical object of strange origin that somehow contains his will

  • That 2nd caller is one stupid mess

  • By the way the earliest found use of the "zero" is found in Hindu Culture, not Arab.

  • Mayans

  • That's funny, the caller finishes by saying that god gave man a mind capable of understanding things such as electricity, but earlier he says that telling people that washing their hands would be too much for them to comprehend...loll pitiful

  • @lypse14

the most important part is that their god is completely against knowledge in general. You can still use the fruit for that - why didn't he want the humans to think for themselves? why does he want them submissive and unthinking and easily manipulated, doing only what he says?

and washing their hands? pagan europe demonstrated hygene and they didn't need god to tell them that. in fact, one of the reasons the christians hated them was because they were clean!

  • What a pity. For a second there, I actually thought that this caller actually had a three-digit IQ.

  • @MaNdZiEy

it's the buddhist cow that calms them down when they feel like they want to go off on believers :) 0:58

  • @youthank8

    LOVE IT!

  • I fucking love the clash, too!

  • Wait, wait, wait..... Being told to wash your hands regulary would send people insane, but being told that if you don't follow a set of ill defined rules you will burn forever is perfectly rational?

  • Bathetic. The guy started out sounding smart.

  • god not giving us evidence doesnt really matter except that religious people claim there god has a special place for us to go if we dont believe in him in which we will be tortured for eternity.

  • I hope the second caller never has kids. "Wow. Sucks that little Johnny got run over by a car. But I didn't tell him not to play in traffic; didn't want to create a ROBOT!"

  • @TheAmericanCthulhu christians dont have logic, its pathetic

  • Matt's dance at the beginning was so sexy.

  • @dahuterschuter Lolz

  • yummy organic smoothie.

    8 cut up strawberries,

    2 cut up peaches,

    little bowl of blue berries.

    hmmm :D

  • YOU asked me if I was serious? You got a problem..

  • @SanEverett yeah. yous a troll

  • @WeGameAlotSir Your chicken shit

  • @SanEverett your religious

  • Millions, including my mother!, die of cancer and God just sits on his almighty ass!

  • at 4:57 the presenters look remarkably like Laurel and Hardy

  • they should do an average iq of atheists vs christians... just for shits and giggles (for the athiests)

  • lol and an atheist thinks me saying 'atheism is stupid' is an insult?? Just read a few comments from atheists on this video and see who is into 'real' insults. And this Christian doesn't 'wonder' why there are folks who push God aside. Nor do I feel like I've got to make God fit everyones little world view. And trying to blame Christians for atheism is about the most lame approach to this debate. Personally I use secular reasoning on this topic since it works. But the discussion's shallow still.

  • @SanEverett you are a complete fucking moron

  • @xRYAN30x Certainly put me in my place..

  • Why would God need to cure any disease? How would that matter? Blaming God for this and that is to redefine God to something you don't want to believe in.

  • @SanEverett He's supposedly a loving god. Btw we don't blame "god" for anything. These are simple questions that come up when you think about a god. "If he really existed, then why..."

Atheists don't define god, especially not so they have less problems not believing in it. You're talking nonsense.

  • @hanspeterpitsch He's supposedly loving? Where did you hear that? And what is love since you've already made a decision by it? Atheists don't define God? I could be an atheist then..Certainly doesn't take any thought since I don't even have to define what I don't believe in..

  • And if God does exist wouldn't He define love?

  • @SanEverett Well, according to Christian doctrine God IS love. And love is defined in the bible as well, and indeed, if God is love, and we go with the biblical definition of love, then we have a complete contradiction, and logically, the christian god cannot exist, because the biblical definition says that love does not judge, nor keep a list of wrongs, which god is specifically defined as doing.

Define a god, and I'll tell you if I believe it.

  • @BigLundi Indeed God is love. That is the biblical definition. But is that as deep with it as we go? God says the 'wounds' of a friend are better than an enemies kindness too. When you read Mcbeth do you see a crazy person insane with love? No,you read it for the story it is communicating.Atheism is such bullcrap. Atheists completely change their standards when it comes to God.And uses,if I may say,a dumb complete literal approach..Read the bible for what its saying not what you want to get from it

  • @SanEverett Well that's kind of dishonest. Some guy said that god is supposed to be all loving, and you say says who?" and when I point out the bible says this you say, "Yeah, but that's not all he is." I mean, can you waffle more on a subject?

I've read the bible, 3 different versions, and it has a few good things, and a lot of bad things.

Give me a good reason to believe in a god, and I will. so far, theists have failed on all fronts to do this.

  • Would you say punishing your child is love? It could very well be a part of it.So your attempt to drain the human experience to a very shallow logistic equation is about the lamest thing I've seen in awhile.

Define a god for you? Define love for me? So I guess love doesn't exist either..Atheism is stupid!

  • @SanEverett Ahhh I see, the usual tactics of someone who doesn't' acre if what they believe is true, simply insult the other person's position and abandon all thoughts of rational discourse. Typical. And Christians wonder why atheists are so adamantly opposed to the religion.

  • @SanEverett there is no correlation between god and love... the fact that you can't define love has nothing to do with the fact you can't define god. God is a creation that has yet to be proven; you can't define something that hasn't been proven to be real... love is something that exists, and is very real, but can't really be defined... by me, I can't define it, but you're just asserting it can't be defined by anyone...There's no comparison between the 2 things, you're using a logical fallacy.

  • @MASSRCOAtheism is the thing thats not been proven. You don't even know what it is you don't believe in.For all intense purposes you might believe in God and not know it already. But God is described in the bible and by more people on the planet than not.And given that fact it should go without saying that God has been proven too.

And I can define love. Its sad to meet another human being who can't.

  • @SanEverett "But God is described in the bible"

Bible doesn't count, there's no reason for me to believe what's in the bible is factual... actually, it's bullshit, I'll just say it.

"by more people on the planet than not"

umm what? which god? not only the christian god for sure... oh, you're encompassing ALL gods to up your stats... bullshit.

"And given that fact it should go without saying that God has been proven too."

how? where? what? bible doesn't count buddy. ^

  • @MASSRCOR "Bible doesn't count, there's no reason for me to believe what's in the bible is factual... actually, it's bullshit, I'll just say it."

Actually the bible does count..Its historicity of past events is as good as any literature man has.And thats good enough for me."Whats proof to you who knows."

    umm what?

    Drama doesn't support anything.

Which god? How can you ask which when you don't know what your referring too? Buddy.

  • @SanEverett

the historicity of the bible actually isn't "as good as any" of the literature we have describing past events.

the only reason for that is because it describes many events that are only mentioned in this one book.

What I mean by that is most historical writings that describe historical events have other documents and evidence to support their claims, but we still require more evidence before accepting it as true.

the bible requires a suspension of this critical process

  • @WeGameAlotSir The bible is confirmed by many many other writings of its geography as well as current findings of tombs etc once thought only a fable in the bible. Stop drinking the atheist koolaide.

  • @SanEverett

    name one other writing.

  • @WeGameAlotSir Josephus and Tacitus.

  • @WeGameAlotSir Josephus and Tacitus.

  • @SanEverett

Tacitus references Jesus, and he was born 25 years after his death.

Josephus's references are under much dispute and can't be used as an example for a reference to the bible.

this isn't confirmation for the bible.

these sources confirming the bible, themselves are not confirmed to be accurate.

oh and btw im not "drinking the atheist koolaide"

I'm using critical thought, and not taking secondhand information and believing it without questioning the sources.

  • @WeGameAlotSir I'm sorry but your question was 'name one' and I did. And the bible is not treated any different than other writings from antiquity from historical scholars christian or otherwise when evaluating historicity of the text, neither should we.

It seems you have a beef with history in itself. How do you know what really happened in antiquity? And why don't you use the same standard historians use for events and geography etc.Seems like you critical thought is against history methodology

  • @SanEverett

Okay, but is was implied that the one's that you were going to name were actually verified.

It is treated differently by Christians.

and I'm not treating it differently I'm giving it just as much credit as it deserves.

we don't "know" what happened but that doesn't mean we should take some book full of contradictions and no credible supportive texts or evidence as truth.

thats what my critical thought was aimed at, obviously.

  • @WeGameAlotSir Nothing was implied sir. What was implied was there was 'no' other writings.

Can you name any events or geography or anything else that helps your case against Christianity.

  • @SanEverett

Yes it was sir because there not credible.

Theres no evidence for most of the claims in the bible. (global flood, jesus, etc) I think that helps my case.

  • @WeGameAlotSir There is more evidence for a global flood and Jesus than there is for evolution.

  • @SanEverett

OMG you have been misinformed sir! haha

  • @WeGameAlotSir Sure got egg on my face don't I?

  • @SanEverett if your being serious..

  • @WeGameAlotSir Are you seriously an atheist? I mean be honest..

  • @SanEverett your trolling

  • god giving people knowledge hardly seems like building robots (making humans incapable of comprehending right and wrong...thats a bit more like building robots)

if i have a child i want to imbue in this child all of my knowledge, it is my responsibility as a parent to make sure that my child has all the skills and knowledge needed to survive in this world. i should NOT wish to leave my child wholly ignorant of everything and lord my knowledge over him, and tell him to do what i say under threat.

  • and if god is supposed to be our "heavenly father" then he is a very poor father isnt he? he is the type of father who's child gets brought into protective custody. he is a father who tells his child jack shit about the world, kicks them out the door and bars it shut, leaves them to fend on their own for years, drops a letter to them at some point telling them what he considered right and wrong, and threatens to torture them to death if they dont love him. he is a BAD father.

  • Why in the name of science does Matt have a cow on his shoulder?

  • @MaNdZiEy I can make you understand why but you gotta believe me, and not question me, and not mock me. I can also help you understand the questions you might have. HE LIKES COWS. Now go write me "Bible 2: I exist for real believe me" and spread the TRUTH to the masses. You can say that from personal experience the one and only allmighty being "AsDasDa" has spoken to you. Be happy my son, "Throws mountain dew at your forehead".

  • @MaNdZiEy Its called a MOO-hammed :D

  • @Anuojat That can cost your life in some places...rofl =D

  • @MaNdZiEy To mock the FSM.

  • @MaNdZiEy Because it is awesome.

  • @FailARN100

    Indeed! :D

  • @MaNdZiEy it's MooHammed one of the show's mascots

  • @MaNdZiEy

    That's Martin, actually

  • @foojuice101

I can see that now LOL, I was talking more about the thumbnail.

Cause in the thumbnail Matt has a cow on his shoulder :)

  • @MaNdZiEy Shhhhhhh!

    *Whispers* It's sacred.

  • @MaNdZiEy It's "Moohammad"

  • what is written in holy books is generally trash.

Now could you imagine if say Jesus had said "i say unto thee my brothers, that all the heat that cometh from the sun is equal to the mass that was used in its creation, multiplied by the the square of the speed at which it cometh" That may have been good, sadly instead they are just full of trash

  • Religion:

Have an imaginary friend? Want one?

  • @drche420 No? *click* How 'bout now?

  • I can't believe it took nearly ten minutes to get to "we discover things, but god gave us our minds so he still gets the credit." I think Matt and Martin could have had him there sooner if they'd been a bit more ruthless.

Reminds me of a scene from Scrubs -

"God didn't heel these people; MEDICINE did."

(mutters) "Thank God for creating medicine..."

  • I noticed a pattern here,

    Religion: God exists!

Atheist: (Common sense, logic, science, evidence bla bla bla)

Religion: (Gets mad / make up some 'facts' / stutter)

    Atheist: (Smile)

  • Before the creation of the universe(Yahweh thoughts..okay Im going to create mankind knowing they will fail ...matter fact Im going to make sure they fail by putting another 1 of my creatures satan 2 decieve them then when they fail I'll blame them for them not knowing who was telling the truth ...then irreasonally react when it happens...I could just forgive them and not curse their children? Naw, I'll just let the world go to hell literal then sacrifice myself to MYSELF to save only a handful)

  • @MrEmeraldfusion See, it makes perfect sense if you just do incredible amounts of psychotropic drugs while being treated for severe schizophrenic disorders!

  • It's Adam and Steve. What's wrong with you people?

  • "It all goes back to... Adam & Eve..."

My reaction: *Leans in* "Sorry what?"

  • They make fair points. I'm just wondering where the concept of pain and infection came from. I've heard before, Science predicted back in the dark ages we'd have died very young, agonizingly from infection.......but..... Back in the dark ages, what would a society look like? Would we have died slowly or instantly through anothers rapacity, others efficiently murdering us very quickly. In a world like that, what sort of an arguement is suffering and death held to a God?

  • If men came before a society, a God would have covered himself from any dispute of suffering and death. Voltaire said laws were in place for a reason.. Matt should know that having read him. But, the truth to Voltaire wasn't for everyone. Instant death is no evil to a God.

  • I want a 'calming' cow to ride on my shoulder too! ^0^

  • @PinkProgram Your reference of doubt describes an Agnostic position. If you don't doubt the existence of God you are not an Atheist. Atheism is the lack of belief. I think what you mean is that you can be an Atheist and not claim to know that God does not exist. You lack the belief of Theistic claims for the existence of God.

  • oh god not Adam and Eve.. next you'll be saying the flood actually happened...

  • Love the intro. Martin's definitely not a punker.

The only significant medical revelation in the Bible is a very methodical, highly prescriptive cure for leprosy. It reads almost like voodoo. And it absolutely does not work.

The scientific cure for leprosy that actually works takes into account that the bacteria that causes leprosy has evolved. That's a double win for science!

  • Was the Hindus that invented the zero as a placeholder really.

  • @ostbagen Even the modern day numbers were invented by Indians or Hindus. Persians adopted it , passed it on to Arabs and the Europeans learnt from Arabs. Thus coining the term Arabic numerals. Arabs referred to them as Hindu numerals.

  • @lightandbeautiful Yeah, I'm gonna just go ahead and ask you to shut your fucking piehole.

  • Besides the asshole who said there's no such thing as rape, this caller wins the "Worst Fail" award.

  • Fucking fundamentalist atheists like these... sitting there quietly and listening to his point of view, and then specifically addressing his issue. Damn them to hell.

  • No I'm sorry - there is no proof backing up what you say. Hitler's closest ally during the entire war was the Pope. The Church even sheltered Nazis AFTER the war, helping to sneak them to South AMerica. No - I'm sorry you can bullshit yourself all you like, but the reality is Christianity is what fueled the Holocaust. Sorry.

  • Nope - Hitler was born, raised, lived and died as a devout CHRISTIAN. We all know (according to the myth of the bible) who killed God's son - and Hitler stated in “Mein Kampf” he was doing “God’s work” by exterminating the Jews. Sorry – your “brother in Christ” Hitler did what he did in the name of your god. OWN IT.

  • What if doctors say "we cannot spoon feed your medicine, you just won't understand it. you go learn about it yourself and discover your own medicine"?

  • @greenjelly01 That is a great point. The doctors would be sick bastards if they refused to help other people when they are perfectly capable of helping. God is also perfectly able, so while people are suffering and dying of cancer god is just waiting for us to be worthy of him giving us a cure. What a asshole, good thing he is a fairy tale.

  • 4:45... classic look of "WTF"

  • i didn't know they were allowed to show an actual rape on televisino

  • 0 came from what is called the Hindu-Arabic Numeral system. The Hindus had 0 before the Arabs. People want to give the Arabs all the credit though...

  • In response to the title: Who spoonfed humanity with cancer?

  • That caller was getting noticeably uneasy there at the end. Trying to rationalize something that was inherently irrational. With some more time spent exploring those ideas there may be hope for him yet.

  • Comment removed

  • wait so why did adam and eve get to decide the fate of all human race hmmmm somethings fishy going on here and no one told them hey by the way if u chose the wrong choice u will doom all future generations wait wait i think i'll leave that part out and that's what he did

  • "I believe that I am acting in accordance with the will of the Almighty Creator: by defending myself against the Jew, I am fighting for the work of the Lord Jesus Christ."

    -Adolf Hitler

  • @wHisperis001 because he wanted us to figure out how to get rid of it duh

  • I blame the Hindus for my shitty math grades.

  • @AgowTisro I blame your shitty math grades for the Hindus. ;-)

  • ya know he proved a number smaller than 1,

    WELL THEN WHAT 1-1?

they probably shat themselves when they found negative integers

then negative fractions and decimals whooo wee.....

  • I love how totally stonefaced Martin is at the beginning.

  • The Clash suck.

  • Why did god create cancer in the first place

  • @wHisperis001

To punish people, for the Adam sin.

    -Ray Comfort

It's a stupid response from christians.
