They're saying that the world's ecosystems are adapted to current climate conditions, and changing these too rapidly through a strengthened greenhouse effect could cause problems. Rising temperature causes increased desertification and lower rice yields, and thanks to the law of minimums, an increase in CO2 alone will do little. Learn science.
