FYI, I was interested in growing gotukola and researched it a little. I advice that others do the same especially women who are pregnant and breast feeding and people who have liver problems or recent surgery. Just passing on some quick research into the plant on webmd.com
John, I'm addicted to your video. I love watching and learning from you. I current live in zone 6 and currently have lots of plants growing inside my small apartment. I would like to buy some gotu kola - can you tell me where I can buy this online? I tried Google search but didn't have any luck.
I have been growing a pineapple bush from a pineapple my brother brought me from hawaii. The crown died, and it regrew a new crown at the base of the plant.
John, love your videos - even though I am not in the same climate zones of many of your videos. One question about the audio levels of your videos: it seems you are miked. Any possibility you could get another mike so the sound level of your guests is the same as yours? The camera mike only works when the guests are speaking directly at the camera.
Yeah, buy me a new flipcamera with clip on mic. (they dont currently make one)I usually speak loud enough, but my guests, dont. I constantly strive to improve the volume on all my videos.. and usually tell my guests to speak up. So turn up the VOLUME on your computer.
do you rinse pineapple in salt water before eating it so it doesn't leave your tongue all gross? does it matter if you rinse in table salt or sea salt?
a lucky dog. happy thanksgiving. i guess you could not show us the pot plants..lol. im an indigenous hawaiian and cant afford to live in hawaii. maybe if if took up pot farming i could. amazing how all that land was ripped off from the natives. well at least he is not building condos.
Ok I learned something new. I didn't know a pineapple plant would produce again after fruiting. Very good to know because I have one growing in my house.
i love jicama <3 good video.

Can you grow gotu kola during the summer in temperate areas? Will they have time to grow? Maybe they could be ok in a heated greenhouse?

great job on the terracing, Jeremy. Can see it is steep. Please get microphones for guests to use for better audio from them.
What great goats-well treated.
Thank You, John. Going to Olomana Garden on Oahu? They use compost worms underfoot of large chicken pen=no smell from the chickens...check it out.
