This was probably supposed to for the hub world that was planned to be part of Liara's recruitment mission but was scrapped. The level ended up as the main compound in Bring down the sky.
@Marchochias There are some unused tracks hidden in the game files and this, I think, is one of them. It sounds like the other tracks from Therum (where you find Liara) so it was probably supposed to be used there.

I think this track is right at the beginning right when you enter Eden Prime.
