  • I did not think Eriatarka could get any better... I was wrong.

Juan and Jon are so amazing in this performance.

  • sounds like God's orgasm noise

  • Do you guys think the hardest instrument to play in TMV are the drums?

  • @StofferZero no. the guitar is harder. I'm a drummer and guitar player.

  • Awesome Dynamics.

  • I used to have a boxer just like the one cedric is wearing.. haha

  • this is everything i try so hard to do in my music and i fail so epically...

  • скучно и не жестко!

  • there is no conclusion thats the point

  • the whole band is unique at there own stuff , and when they mix it , its like a big cum !

  • @stooge123454 im assuming u mean its like ur the 1 cumming and thats a good thing so...

    i totally agree !!

  • Holy tempo change

  • i see them in 2008

  • De loused was made so it could be played differently everytime, because although we might not get tired of it, they want to hear something different, and it gives a live performance its special own sound.

I got this whole show on vinyl :)

  • OMG

  • how does one get to the conclusion of that guitar melody?

  • drugs

  • theodore astounds me, just leaves me speechless everytime. these guys have been known to play 3 and a half our gigs straight before and jon mannages to hit every beat perfectly from start to finish with no fuck ups! as well as hitting the last beat as hard as the first, he has immense energy, technicality, speed and just on the spot jamming. Volta will never be the same without him!

  • i fuckin know man! i mean, pridgen is a BEAST of a drummer, but he can't measure up to jon. jon has a remarkable style all his own.

  • badass drumming on that chorus

  • Jon Theodore blows my mind every time. Such power behind his technicality. I appreciate him way more than Pridgeon.

  • I appreciate Pridgedon's playing just because he does a lot of technical stuff, sticking wise. But Pridgedon can't keep a solid groove like Jon could.

  • its pridgen man lol

  • oops mistake sorry, thanks for correcting me. (not sarcasm)

  • @RowdyGleason apples and oranges

  • Damn I love Juan's bass playing.

  • these videos tmv videos are the greatest videos on earth, what i wouldn't give to be at this show

  • amen to that

  • Watch them in Australia,. Well known fact thats when they play their best.

  • this is true... they always go off in Australia!

  • Ive seenthe 4 different times and all were different experiences.saw them atthe greek in LA after frances. amazing. saw the open for chilis. good. saw them with prigden after goliath came out and most crowd contact ever. cedric and omar were up to par craziness with their ATDI days.

Dont watch them open or at festivals if you have a choice. watching them on tour themselves is best.

  • I never got to watch the Volta during this era like the whole 5 man band . Pretty upsetting cause I thought their 2008 sbhow was gonna be like my last chance to see any de loused songs live and they dident even play any. So im just crushed now that ill never see Roulette Dares or Cicatraz live

  • saw them play deloused all the way through :p

tho i think they will be around for awhile ull get ur chance

  • Dude every time i've seen them they always play roulette dares or drunkinship. recently too.

  • Even if they stopped playing deloused live, they shouldn't. Thats there best album in my opinion.

  • The EP was great too. Everything after deloused is worthless.

  • I agree

  • I guess this is wrong... I really love deloused (maybe it is their best album), but all cds of TMV are fucking amazing... always a new and different style... love them all:D I am going to see them live in two weeks and I hope they will have the same power as five years ago, when i saw them the first time...

  • they need to get two guisound as 2 guitarists, it doesnt as full as it does on the album

  • youtube sound quality.

  • they suck live

  • Yeah, unfortunately... I hoped for better

  • Most of the recordings make cedric sound way more out of tune, and their performance sound shittier in general live, but I was blown away when I saw them. If you ever go take earplugs though. Parts of the show were too loud for me to make out noted. Oh, and as far as their live show NOW, Thomas Pridgen is Jesus on drums.

  • if you saw them open for system then i can understand, ever since cedric started using that new mike its been better, either way the music is freakin sick live, im dissapointed tho that not many people go as crazy at the shows as me and the ppl i go with.

  • i've heard one live performance, it was ok.. i've heard others say they're rubbish live... but they definitely don't have any audience contact

  • That and Omar can't improv to save his life.

  • his improv owns!! partly becuase his own style is to play notes out of scale and then come back in and it sounds siiiiick, omar is a god

  • No his style is to crappily pick random notes because he can't think of anything on the spot.

  • 3.12 till 4.01 AWESOME

  • cedric is the best singer out there fuck all the other gueros that suck fuck yeah

long live the volta pinches cochos

  • hi!! MSG me on MSN. ID is in my profile. x

  • What's NOT with the guitar? It's his song, he can do what he wants with it. And there's not really many errors, it's just sloppy, and it's to give a different effect. He's an amazing guitarist.

  • I see some errors.. STOP THE DRUGS..shit

  • Didn't Jeremy Ward die a day after this show???

  • Actually he died shortly before this very show, not after.

  • you cantell b/c juan(bassist) is their but marcel(omar bro and percussionist) isn't

  • i saw them at the house of blues in myrtle and it was the best cedric has ever sounded it was incredible...

  • fuck off theyre class.

why dont peoples comments make sense?

    cos you're all shit.

    x

  • I wish i could see this TMV, not the actual... i love their albums, frances the mute and The lused in the comatorium, but the new albums aren't bad but they don't have it strenght...

  • im not sure if i like them live,

i saw them in anaheim and thought the same thing.

  • the preformance that got me to like them live was Day of the Baphomets on the Henry Rollins Show

but the quality on youtbe probably won't be that great, but you should still try anyways
