I was at a friends place around 1993 in St pete FL and he had this music playing on cassettte, What I heard was the the most impressive score I had heard up to that point. I never heard a score with electric guitar and keys like it before, I asked him what it was he said "Hans Zimmer the K2 score"

There are so many songs from PotC that are better than Wheel of Fortune IMHO... My favorites are One Day, Up Is Down and Drink Up Me Hearties.

In general, I prefer Zimmer's slower-paced "grand and imposing" over the fast-paced, somewhat disorienting "battle music".
