The bible says marriage is between a man and a woman and the 1st amendment says no law shall be made stopping the exercising of those beliefs. So passing a law changing the definition of marriage is unconstitutional.

Actually, the 1st amendment says in part..."Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof..." The bible says marriage is between a man and a woman and the 1st amendment says no law shall be made stopping the exercising of those beliefs. So passing a law changing the definition of marriage is unconstitutional.

The occupiers are not violent revolutionaries any more than the Ron Paul "revolution" is an actual armed rebellion. To say they are is pure ignorance, pure disinformation. They are only out there to start a conversation about corruption. Crony capitalism where a private central bank, owned by wall street banks, owned by european banker men, who have a private monopoly on the money supply, is not a free market. It is organized crime. Many of the occupiers are Ron Paul supporters who are out there to support and defend the constitution. There are a large number of democrats who have joined the nonpartisan anti-NWO movement, and it is taking time to educate them, but that is the point of being out there, to educate naive liberals and naive conservatives alike. Pointing to a handful of thugs in Oakland to claim a movment of millions who are firmly nonviolent is as disingenous as pointing to one single guy in D.C. who paid mexicans to hold signs for his housing protest. Stop spreading lies. When 99.9% of the people are firmly against an sort of violence, pointing to that tiny percentage of misbehaviors is twisting things and you know it and I know and so does everyone else. A 'call to action' huh! Well if you want to be sure you have enough 'troops', just call on all the licensed hunters and shooters in all the states! You'll have a bigger group than all the armies in the world combined....and virtually all of them feel about this country just as you do and I do, I'm an armed 67 yr old female....and I took a similar oath when I worked as an RN for the VA Hospital system!
