It was an okay con, but I aggree, it wasnt the best. I was an assistant to the arms dealer for the small dealers room. But I knew some of those in here.

Fran at 0:53 - thats my newly made friend. She is fun to hang out with. Lots of stories from Ihop at midnight. lol

Joker at 2:39 - great at staying in character

Butch at 3:26 - took a while to realize I was calling 'him' "Biff" lol

Elda and Freya at 5:20 - Amazingly fun, spent 1/4 of the con with them.

I've been to Sakuracon twice (Which is awesome) Penny Arcade Expo, and the Emerald city comiccon.... All of which were way more organized than Onicon.

Uh, no... All those conventions are in Seattle, WA (My home town) But in Houston (or near it) is A Kon... It's in Dallas, and it's been going on for the last 21 years, so they supposedly know what they're doing.

Onicon isn't a very organized con at all. Truthfully? I don't think it's even a good con. It was certainly an improvement compared to last year. I'm looking forward to the next Akon.

It was my first time there, so I don't know if it's usually as bad as it was this time... I'd suggest trying to volunteer, that way you get a free pass, as well as a free room.
