I know this guy, he lives a kilometer from me here in amsterdam (I'm dutch) and for a non-dutch grower he is highly thought of. Surely had it been super harsh as you say he'd have been coughing at the end there and not smiling. He doesn't know everything,(Who does?) but he knows enough to grow a power smoke and he's doing his best to educate and promote weed to new growers.

he makes a few mistakes in these videos,by accident mabe,first he says he uses a hps with a blue spectrum for flowering,it's meant to be red spectrum,.Also when the tricome crystals are clear ,they arent ready,when they are cloudy and amber is when they are ready.

@aHIGHanarchist you have it wrong.cloudy is when the trich is ready and contains mostly thc.amber is when it is starting to degrade to other cannabanoids and gives more a couchlock stone..clear trichs are immature, so you want either all cloudy for a good head high,mostly amber for a good couchlock or a mix of the 2 .you don't want clear..trust me dude i have read alot..

@aHIGHanarchist You're right, and i was surprised myself when he didn't examine the trichomes with a magnifying-glass etc, but to be fair to him he has an ENORMOUS amount of grow experience and i know growers here in amsterdam like him who "at a glance" have the uncanny knack of getting the harvest pluck-time absolutely CORRECTLY for the high they seek. I won't give his name away here, but he's highly regarded as a great grower here in holland. (And for a non-dutch grower that is NO easy feat)

You are a terrrible grower man. First of all, you shouldnt stack your plants like that, its bad for the buds. Also, you didnt mention anything about curing, if you dont cure your buds, they are going to be crusty, fall apart, they are gonna smell like shit, taste bad, and have harsh smoke. Curing is a crucial part of harvesting befor you can smoke anything.

right off the bat, that's awful advice on when to harvest.. you want to be looking for cloudy and amber trichomes, not clear ones. and most strains' pistils all go rusty before harvest time

@MichaelMansour64 Buds are more potent, small crystally leaves can be decently potent but the taste is bad. Leaves store nutrients for the plant so when you smoke them you taste all the nutrients/energy stored & the chlorophyll that gives them the green colour tastes bad and is harsh to smoke.

Most people make hash/budder/oil/brownies out of leaves, Most of the chlorophyll is left behind and only using the good resin off the leaf.. making the hash/oil/budder even more potent then the buds.
