@nickjuly4A i asked a guy at gamestop and he said my router is a type that has trouble with the ds i just found out that i can manually enter all the stuff like my ip and it works
now, I'm on AOL so I'm gonna have to switch to Netzero right? (I once googled what ISP's are good for Nintendo WFC but got a list of ISP's that had problems with it, and Netzero wasn't among them. Plus, I think you mention it in your written tutorial.)
Yea, people have reported problems using AOL and Nintendo wifi Connection, although some have gotten it to work somehow. If you'd like to see if it works with AOL for you then try, otherwise get NetZero.
My friend suggested that i should move closer to my satalite since his friend does that to use wifi.I didnt need to do all the computer setup or needed a wireless router.I just need stand next to the statelite
My friend has to stand outside next to the satelite while i can be upstairs near it ^_^
hey thanks alot for the help. now i can play my games online with dial up. you really help me out thank you again. i'm going to add you as a friend for the help. thanks again. i'm so happy
I found a way to do it on a 64 bit comp, go to control panel and click network and internet connections and then click on either Wireless Network Setup wizard or the Network Setup wizard. I don't know which one will do since I don't have a USB connector so y'all try both of em'
You might be able to get it at some stores like Game Stop or Wal-Mart, but because Nintendo stopped selling them it might be harder to find, so you might need to go to eBay to get it.
If I press allow others to connect to my internet, do they still need to input the WEP password? I mean does it disable the security?

I looked at the FAQ on your site, I think it's possible to share an internet connection on a 64 bit Windows XP xomputer.

Just goes to show you not to trust every word the official Nintendo site.
BTW, where can I find a USB connector?
