This must be the first time, I am responding to any video on youtube... but this is just pure... I don't know what to say! I LOVE THIS! Very very good job!
The joys of multitrack! This month I finally sat down to really figure it all out instead of tossing in bits for an acoustic one-track take. Marr's stuff really does get served better if it's fleshed out like this - keep up the great music!
I who is feeling admiration want also to come referring when it is an always wonderful technique and a recording technology ..wanting the challenge...
By the way Daniel, I consider this song to be their absolute most complex (production wise) and maybe even their "masterpiece" (production wise). What do you think? There is A LOT going on in this record
Okay the way you play the chord progression in Track 1 is really unique, I really liked that a lot. Were you using delay on that track? It sounded like you were. Great tone by the way.
For a lot of people asking how he is getting his guitar to sound like that, 90% of it is in the way he is playing it, he's a really experienced player and I can tell he's developed an awesome tone through his fingerss.
gosh this is beautiful.

Semi-off-topic: Daniel, how do you polish your jetglo Rics, or do you ever do this?
ersatz01 2 years ago
What a great question.
I'm getting a used 330 6 string jetglo after this month and I've heard they can leave some serious smugges.
Not like it really matters but it looks nicer when polished.
