Eve continues..."I Need Dean"

Have not had a chance to see or talk to Evelyn yet, if anyone calls, they say that she is not there. The hearing has been continued, as the second Dr. evaluation isn't finshed yet, so now we wait longer. Calls, exposure and prayers - we need much.

Okay so from what I am gathering the magic date is Jan 7th. Has anyone seen Evelyn or talked to her latley? Has her house been sold? I have seen this happen a time or 2 in my family--both times was very heart breaking but too young to do anything--laws are diff state to state--BUT--if her house is still there there is something to work with. And I truly hope it is. I had to listen to my Great Aunt tell me at a nursing home her house and everything she had was gone--it was too late then.

Question: I know that Evelyn was taken from her home on November 7th and brought to the hospital. When did she leave the hospital and go to the nursing home? I am just confused - - was she home on November 13th when Dean's ex-fiancee visited? God bless Evelyn. She will be in my thoughts and prayers especially this week, as she spends Christmas in the nursing home.

Evelyn had to report to the hospital on Nov. 20th (not the 7th) ....she was in the hospital 5 days & since she had nothing medically wrong, she was discharged to a n. home on November 25th(?)...the day before Thanksgiving & has been in the n.home since. Yes Ev was still home on Nov. 13th.

See, the thing is, you do have a problem. It is Evelyn's life and her liberties that are being taken from her. She choose her caregiver, knowing he is doing all he can for her. Yes, the fact that he has a g/f who isn't looking out for anyone but herself, & wanting to take advantage of a man just so she can marry and get citizenship, found out way too late.

Evelyn know what she wants, she wants to be home and have Dean as her caregiver. She needs no one to rule her life.

PS. S/shine, what do u think they did before, hundreds of yrs we all go along with out LICENSED or CERTIFIED people taking care of the elderly. Nuns were not even certified until late.

No, it was Fri the 13th of Nov this yr, and Evelyn saw the whole thing, girl came home drunk, cursing, and Dean told her not to, and tore up the marriage license. Eve saw the whole thing, made an affidavit saying Dean did nothing wrong. If they can find Eve incompetent, then that paper would be dismissed - Eve is a wittiness, and trying to frame Dean now is what they are doing too. SICK!

She is still being held captive, without visitors, no phone, no contact from her support team.

It matters not that Dean is unrelated. A husband or son that cares for his mother, is just that, a man, whom u suggest needs a female to do caregiving needs.

When he started his care over 14 yrs ago, he started out doing minimal things, then more needed to be done. Fourteen years brings alot of trust, respect and love. Family could not be closer. And, Evelyn has her church friends, and us 3 women

It appears it DOES matter that Dean is not a blood relative. Did Evelyn give the police permission to enter the home? Dean does not own the home he lives there but doesn't own it right? So he had a gun with some type of disability? What does this mean? Sounds to me that Dean and his wife brought attention to themselves and now Evelyn is caught up in the situation. Sadly she is not able to care for herself and Dean obviously is not an adequate or able caregiver. Sadly if she has no family.....

So is she home or in a nursing home? Is there no related FEMALE caregiver for this woman? Why not set up a trust and pay a certified female aide or home caregiver service for a 24 hour service? Seems to me whoever Dean is, he has made an unfavorable impression with the authorities and is not helping the situation. If he truly cared, he would bow out gracefully from any financial or physical relationship with Evelyn. He can be her friend without bathing, toileting or living with her.

I have no problem with a licensed and trained male nurse or certified male nurse assistant caring for Evelyn. An untrained, unlicensed, unrelated male who apparently has run afoul of the law and his undocumented girlfriend are not going to be adequate according to the court to care for Evelyn.
