UK and America both had the best bands... late 80's and all 90's pop music though, the UK owns that. Blur, Oasis, Pulp, Stone Roses, Happy Mondays, Suede, Charlatans, Radiohead, The Verve, and more. But America had a lot of good bands too in that time - Beck, Pavement, Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, and others.
i am Mexican and i remember this great band in 90's, i loved it, in fact this video makes me think when the music was made by smart musicians ... i sttill keep the "cassett", i hope new bands like this since the "rock and roll" we listened now is really bad!!!
@Laultimavirgen You make some good points. Maybe we get the really great musicians and music like this, when we really need them. In my time, witnessing the arrival of people like the Beatles, Doors, Jimi, Janice, Zappa, CJ and the Fish, Dylan, Quicksilver, Steve Miller, Focus, John McLaughlin, Queen, Genesis, Moody Blues, Charlatans, UK - and yes, I include Charlatans in the Pantheon! - gives faith that in some garage somewhere, the Muse is tuning up, and smiling through new eyes...
I always thought Between 10th & Up to our Hips were very underated. Fair play to them, for them to keep believing in themselevs, in their so called wilderness years.
Both are great albums. It might be sentimentality on my part but I loved both albums when they were released and still do. I remember listening to this song in my car. I was parked and staring out at the lake. It's been so many years and the memories mean so much.
A little over a year ago a little boy called Josh was playing in his room when a raper crashed trought his window and killed him.Today Josh will kill anyone moking this message and if you don't paste comment on 10 other videos in the next 10 minutes Next time you play in your room he will burst trought your window and kill you.
Año 1992. Cumplo 16 años y mis amigos me regalan en vinilo uno de mis discos favoritos de la historia de la música: between 10th and 11th. Para mi el mejor de The Charlatans y recomendado para todo el mundo.
I agree, at least one of the best ever, but I have to give thumbs down for doing the stupid full stop between words thing. Only.twats.write.like.this.

What a fucking amazing song. The album this is from is my favouriie Charalatans album. Love the way the typewriter is in time with the keyboards at the start.
Between 10th and 15th is undoubtedly one of the BEST LPs ever.
