  • AWE-SOME!

  • so how much does the parts cost with out the use of the lathe because its more then 5 dollars and for 5 dollars you can get the parts needed at the hardware store to make one that works.

  • The ammo sure doesn't sound like high velo.

Sounds identical to hollow point subsonics. High velocity .22 calibre hollow points have a distinctive crack to them.

  • @Wipplewags Yeah but a silencer isn't that useful when using supersonic projectiles.

But I certanly agree with you, that's a .22 probably hollow.

But then again, silencer for that? We can barely hear anything without it.

  • that'd be great for a zombie apocalypse.

  • Isnt that heavy?

  • @dirtbikefanatic098 No, it is made of Aluminium

  • Is that one homemade???

  • @s8armstrong Yes it is. Some lathe work is needed.

  • Did he shoot it? Haha that was amazing

  • how did you do that ?????that would interest me

  • @vollstrecker55 That is simple. All info is outlined in Gun Silencer Manual, and Pistol Silencer Manual available on my websites.

  • SOUND LIKE A SHUTTER SONUD

  • Nice setup and amazing suppression and nice scope there.

  • is that how quiet a .22 is?

  • Subsonic

  • i love the sound of a silenced 22... wait what sound?

they are the real silent killer

  • Damn son I got airsoft guns louder very cool

  • Love the looks and suppressor action. Would love one for my 10/22 to keep rodent population down around the house and not bother the neighbors!!! I would have to keep a tight lid on it seeing how it is against the law here to have one.

  • How did you get your barrel threaded?

  • @beb2989720625 Threading is done in a lathe.

  • only pussies use a tripod! lol jk nice vid

  • its like nothing is comming out!!!!!!!

  • Are you sure that you have fired high velocety ammo and not sub sonic?

If this is really high velo, this would be awsome.

    Thanks for answering.

  • @eugenestoner2 The Ammo is 22 Lr Remington High Speed.

  • @birgrunar its subsonic.........

  • Only is you have to acc to law.

  • Wow, thats quiter than my pellet gun.

  • It's not a silencer, it's a surpressor, it's impossible to fully silence a gun, even the british sten gun, the only noise it made was the bolt moving

  • @traxxixbandit And you are an idiot for calling it suppressor over silencer.

  • Comment removed

  • damn!!! even a bbgun makes more noise

  • @shusher0099 And a "decent bb gun" will cost more, what a joke, piece of plastic/metal crap with a cheap chinese motor or crappy gas /spring system vs a well engineered rifle.

  • Do you have to use low velocity bullets with a silencer?

  • @kenny01622 Because if you use standard/hyper velocity rounds, there is a sonic crack which is quite loud.

  • Damn thats awesome for hunting with the slincer

  • @joeyakabert Smart comment ! The use of Gun Silencer is in my mind a hearing protection for shooters and bystanders. The plus side for hunting is that you can get more shots at game and get better results from your hunting trips. More meat for the Freezer.

  • @birgrunar i wouldnt think that a .22 wud be loud enough to damage hearing as it is without a suppressor...

  • where can i get a suppressor like this?

  • @gh3master69 Make it your self or get a good mechanic to do it for you !

Get Gun Silencer Manual or Pistol Silencer Manual from my websites. Rifflar, Silencerbrake, for example.

With clear, detailed and simple instructions of how to make silencer which works, for your needs.

Along with installation instructions. Comes with photos, and blueprint drawings and measurements.

  • @birgrunar do you have to register anything if you make it yourself?

  • @gh3master69 I forgot ! You can also get Double Action Silencer and Muzzle Brake Combo, which is a combination of Silencer and Muzzle Brake, ideal for larger rifles.

  • how often u have to clean the Suppressor ?

  • @germany2010ful About once a year, but this depends on how much it is used. It is quick to do, simple to dismantle and clean.

  • @birgrunar thanks

  • Very smooth! Great video and great test.

    TheMajor 1*

  • @TheMajor98 Thank you !

  • is this a real .22 or a air gun .22..but check out mines wat i made for a .177 cal gun...

  • is this a real .22 or a air gun .22

  • @ghost2cipz This is real 22 long rifle. Ammo is Rem Hi Speed

  • sounds like a airsoft gun

  • is that a .22 short or long

  • I remember .22's being louder. Even without the suppressor I can't hear much. Maybe it's just my iPod.

  • thats awesome, sounds like a pellet gun...

  • @theresyourtrouble Very lethal pellet gun lol with semi auto fire, plus one of these can be picked up for about £200

  • @ longboardskater7 I doubt you could kill a deer in one shot with a .22. Maybe a .22 Magnum. Honestly, I hunt with a .243, so I'm not sure.

  • @ScorchedAndTorched you're dumb. 1 shot, I've seen it

  • 17 people are al-queda

  • supressor not silencer

  • too bad it isnt sub sonic, or is it? if it was i doubt youd hear anything?

  • @Raidenx89 - Brainless comment.......

  • @Derail07 i just wanted to know if his ammo is subsonic, to add to my collection of brainlessness, maybe then id have a little brain right?

  • haha no sir.i want one for my single ahot 45-70 govt.i do alot of hog hunting in texas.ans guided hunts.

  • @knockout1018 This type of Gun Silencer fits 45-70 well ! Try it !

  • whats the site???.im a guide in texas for hogs,im a retired marine and im in need of one bad can you help out a war vet.email me at marines.1shot@yahoo.com to talk ane ill give you my specw

  • @knockout1018 your probably an atf agent wanting a promotion

  • @datzfast Bahahahahaha, fuck oath!

  • were did ya pick up the scilencer

  • @knockout1018 I made it myself ! Check out my websites.

  • that wouldnt kill even kill a squirrel.

  • @lodgi0101 You think so !

  • @lodgi0101 If it can kill a deer, it can kill a squirrel. End of story.

  • @lodgi0101

Wonder why the .22LR is probably the most popular caliber for shooting squirrels??

  • @lodgi0101 lol a bb will kill a squirrel

  • @lodgi0101 Your an idiot. 22 will kill a human.

  • @lodgi0101 !?!?!?!?! its a fucking .22 you can hunt deer with it

  • @lodgi0101 Your a retard...

  • I really can't tell the difference

  • @toughspitfire You should have got you a silencer long time ago !

  • How is semi auto disengaged on the 581?

  • @sirjimis Manually !

  • cool video but one question. did you have your rifle barrel machined it looks like there is about 2 inches exposed but we dont see any thread, it looks like you used a set screw to mount it on the rifle is that right? again cool video there is a clear difference Joseph T fly2000jtb

  • @fly2000jtb The Gun silencer is threaded on muzzle end. The threads do not show well on video ( not clear ). It is the most accurate installation.

  • is this in Iceland ?? looks very Icelandic to me lol ... that silencer sure does it his job :D

  • @bluehardsteel Yes it is in Iceland.

  • Well, .22s are like bbs to begin with, funny to hear it silenced.

  • @promontorium Last week a family went target shooting in the dessert. The father was showing his 8 year old daughter how to shoot safely, they were using a .22 rifle. His 4 year old daughter ran out in front and got shot in the head. She died at the scene. BB's don't kill you if you get capped in the brain, 22 bullets are not like BB's.

To the family and friends of the little girl I am sorry for your loss, and I meant no disrespect.

  • it doesnt sound very different lol, and you should paint it black so it matches the barrel

  • Ghillie in the Mist

  • How about that!!rabbit dead before he can hear the shot and Run!!

    Ben dover,ark.

  • that silencer is heaps good, 2 bad i live in australia where were not aloud them

  • lol its a 22

  • is that an air gun? - bb gun?

    sound like it..

  • @Shuffling69Israeli it's a real gum will a .22cal

  • I think the trigger pull is louder than the gun

  • that is epic i was waiting for a nice crack the wind is louder

  • all you hear is "click"

  • how does this thread into the gun barrel?

    Slaps

  • Did he die?

  • @TITOZISKITO Yeah, he dieded.

  • I think, it doesnt need it

  • lawl! dont even make a sound O_o it sounds more like *click* no ammo haha.

  • that's sick!

  • very nice silencer.

  • @Wuug Thank you. And it works very well.

  • it sounds like an airsoft gun with the silencer

  • Sounds So Quiet I thought you were clicking a mouse button xD

can wait untill i join my local .22 club :D

  • In Soviet Russia Rifle silences you.

  • @trinimark123abc pretty sure thats downtown detroit

  • @trinimark123abc In Rifle, you silence Soviet Russia.

  • Are you shooting sub-sonic ammo

  • @Ryanbly166 No. In this video I shoot Rem Hi Speed.

  • nice silencer but the 22 is so quiet there no pont in my opinon other then to make it look cool

  • .22 rounds aren't even loud... why would you need a suppressor

  • wow that would be good for hunting small game

  • sounds like a camera click

  • at first i thought nothing was coming out thought it was jammed

but then i see a little air moving at the end of the barrel im like shit! thats a good ass silencer!

  • it sounds like a toy but i bet it really kills when you get shot by it lol

  • Great Silencer 5*

  • @TamrynRimfire Thank you.

  • sounds the same here...

  • @craz3ykiller That is why you benefit by using a silencer.

    To protect your hearing !

  • Does this effect the accuracy of the weapon?

  • @adGMondo No, this gun silencer does not effect accuracy to the worse. When all parts are correctly made and installation is concentric with center of barrel bore, and according to instructions in Gun Silencer Manual it actually increases accuracy. This is due to the muzzle braking efficiency of this silencer. I have not been advertising the muzzle braking effect of this Gun silencer, but it is there as an extra benefit.

  • @birgrunar Awesome :3

  • i dont think most .22's need suppressor's lol

  • is that tundra?

  • haha put like the little rat shots in the like a mini buck shot for a 22 there sweet

  • wow... it like dead silent xept 4 the little clicks lol

  • But, they are only legal in 38 states.

  • sounds like a kids toy with a silencer

  • @Alex35c

some "kids toys" are louder! :)

  • it sounds like a camera shutter

  • ruger 10/22?

  • @Traviseatsyou No look at the bolt. I'd say it was a foreign made .22, but I could be wrong.

  • @MintLinuxPenguin . It is a Brno M 581 Semi Automatic cal. 22 lr rifle

  • @Traviseatsyou It is ideal to fit this Gun silencer to Ruger 10/22. Will have same efficiency as the Brno on Video.

  • do you need earprotection when firing a 22. ?

  • @xphotosniperx Yes a .22 caliber round can get past subsonic speeds depending on the make of the round. This will sound like a large boom as it is breaking the sound barrier and will eventually damage the ear drums. Even subsonic rounds can be loud and hearing protection is ALWAYS recommended next to eye protection.

  • @xphotosniperx Yes if you want to protect your hearing !

  • Have a couple of them. ..22, and 9mm ruger. Been working on shotgun. Awesome once you get it right though. helps to have a mill too.:)

  • silent killer!!!

  • @Luka464 Nope! Good hearing protection.

  • @birgrunar you're a genius hahaha

  • @birgrunar where did you buy the silencer? and how much

  • @joealonso89 This is a custom made Gun Silencer. As outlined and instructed in the Gun Silencer Manual I sell on my websites. Simple to make and cheap material.

Material cost is about $ 20 , and some lathe work is needed.

  • the action of that gun is pretty damned quiet all by it's lonesome... but putting that suppressor on makes it sound like a click pen *CLICK CLICK* *CLICK CLICK*... damn....

  • @pres9171 Most rifles, most, not all, will be pre-threaded for a silencer or muzzle brake, however a barrel adapter can be fitted by a gunsmith, or if you know how, yourself.

  • when using the a 22lr, do you need to wear ear protection? It sounds pretty quite without a silencer. Is the 22lr even that loud?

  • I just recently bought a Whicnchester .22 magnum, pump action off my uncle. It has a few mechanicle malfuctions because of its complex mechanism (for a small caliber rifle) Its a real oddity. might be more accurate if i took the scope off.

  • its scary to think about the lethality of a suppressed 22 in the right hands

  • @badmonk3829 sounds way different

  • that's kinda scary....

  • are you using subsonics????

  • @nixymagoo The Ammo is Remington Hi Speed

  • I'de rather have a silencer off.. i love the boom of any gun

  • @308hayden I think it is better to love your hearing, into older age.

  • "Hey, i hear somebody stapling papers in the distance" O.o

  • then "Oh shi-..." *Blood everywhere*

  • @peepeevagi yea exactly, "Hey allan it that a sniper up on that ridge?!" "nahh its just a guy stapleing flyers on a tree"... Dave....where r you?... Dave... OOKAY THIS IS BULLS (tick) "fuck" *dies* haha

  • how about u try using some bullets and a silencer wont take that much sound away

  • That is the sound of a .22 Rifle.... 1shotZ1Zkillz

Stupid fool,Try getting out more and use a gun.

  • you'd probably have to be there to notice a big difference

  • Comment removed

  • I recommend visitors to watch video 2 to 3 times before making commens of the efficiency of this silencer.

  • first thing first. if the bullet travels faster then the speed of sound. that wont help you. as you would understand the bullet has left before the sound... when we talk low vol like this .22 unless using hi vol ammo the silancer will work. the sound you can here (i think) is the bullet hitting the target. ok a lil air pressure but if you were next to the target getting shot you would here stuff all thats were it conunts... the pinkmist

  • of course when you shoot in a wide open field, the sound from the sonic boom has nothing to bounce/echo off of, so its super super quite. my .22 shoots a little louder than this, it sounds about exactly the same as an air powered staple/nail gun. when your around trees, holy hell..a silencer wont help you there. With .22's the bullet makes all the noise, not the firing of the gun.

  • I don't hear much difference between the first and second shooting, it's only the last shooting that's different, a little quieter.

  • the first one you can hear the explosion coming out of the barrel, the reason the second one is so loud is because of the internal workings of the rifle (like the strike pin hitting the bullet) the reason why the third one is quietest is because all you hear is the strike pin and none of the automatic reloading of the barrel with another bullet which is what happens with semi-auto

  • I know how a suppressor works, but it seems that it doesn't have much effect on the report for this rifle for some particular reason.

  • i have to have a permit or stamp i cant remeber either way i gotta pay...

  • it's only a .22 cal why bother making a suppressor for it? it's not like it makes a lot of noise in the first place lol

  • what kind of talk is that... you telling us not to customize our guns... dude are you anti gun?
