Those technically are not sabots. Sabots were invented in Naples Bay in Long Beach CA. And they do NOT have daggers. Southern California Sabots have leeboards. I have seen two of the "sabots" with dagger boards, but they are not allowed in raced because they are much faster. Also the sabot symbol is a red Dutch sabot, with an "N" inside of it which stands for "Naples" or Naples Bay in Long Beach CA.

@wowthatsailor, these are the Australian Sabot. There is a difference, but these are sabots.

nice video..i learnt to sail in a sabot when i was 8yrs old.
Now i'm 37, have a cruising yacht with many ocean miles under the keel.
