Stephanie IS SM's dancing queen, there isn't much there to dispute. She was SNSDs dancing teacher, a superior. Stephanie dances with fierceness and great vigor when it comes to hip hop or popping but she's graceful and emotional when it comes to ballet or contemporary. She's an all around amazing dancer, you can't even try and compare her to being LESS then Hyoyeon, that's just beyond ridiculous, and it really is just depressing that the world really doesn't know the extent of her talent.
I was reading around... and well decided to take a look..I was expecting a female Michael Jackson here. Although all were okay dancers.. none had that... I noticed in most Korean Pop and hip-pop they compare most like (the korean MJ) like Boa, Rain, Hyoyeon but I dont see it. Either way good dancers but im tired of seeing this comparison..

Oh, Hyo is kiiiiilling it! She's crazy, so talented! Sometimes I wish she was in a different group, I love SNSD but everyone in SNSD matches with the cute image except for her. It's not fair. Hyo shouldn't be doing cute routines, she should be dancing like this all day, all night.

Honestly I can see why people wouldn't care for Hyo's routine...she kinda lacked finesse here and DID look a little spastic, though she SLAUGHTERED during the group dance portion. I still prefer Hyo though by FAR but I can just see why some wouldn't.

Stephanie trained in ballet, and I am very impressed she got into a top dancing school. However, Hyoyeon actually trained in Latin dance and jazz before she turned to hip hop.
I think it's fair to say that she can also control her moves.

Both of their dance wasnt hard at all. But I definitely like Stephanie more cause ballet to me is the hardest type of dance to learn. Ballet is all about posture technique and strength. And if its true that she went into a famous ballet academy or college than it takes skill and years of hard work to do that. You literally HAVE to bleed and break your toes. For her to go from stiff ballet to loose hip hop is VERY hard. Hyoyeon might be a good at hiphop but I don't think she can deal with ballet.
It's really hard to compare Stephanie and Hyoyeon, as they weren't trained in the same types of dancing, nor are their dances similar in this. Stephanie trained in ballet, and Hyoyeon trained in a lot of popping and things like that.

Oh, Hyo is kiiiiilling it! She's crazy, so talented! Sometimes I wish she was in a different group, I love SNSD but everyone in SNSD matches with the cute image except for her. It's not fair. Hyo shouldn't be doing cute routines, she should be dancing like this all day, all night.
Stephanie is really attractive, the moves aren't complicated but she knows how to sell it.

@CookieFridays i think stephanie is the best dancer in kpop but i totally agree with you regarding hyoyeon. she's stuck with a big group that really don't have any challenging choreography. snsd dances are meant to be simple so it's easy for the fans to copy.

@denn1sable Don't forget Park Kahi. I'd love to see a Kahi, Stephanie, and Hyoyeon dance off. These three are the best female dancers in k pop right now. I don't think it'll ever happen though, but in my heart I beg for it XD.

@0XDoYouLoveMeX0 if you're referring to park kahi (or gahee) of after school she's totally awesome but, for me, stephanie is still better. if you're referring to another park kahi (i've read about a solo singer/dancer with this name) I haven't had a chance to check her out.

@denn1sable After School's Park Kahi IS going solo XD. And she was a dancer :o BoA's backup dancer for 3 years...lead dancer for DJ doc...and dance teacher for Son Dambi. Haha it's personal preference XD They have different style ^^

Honestly I can see why people wouldn't care for Hyo's routine...she kinda lacked finesse here and DID look a little spastic, though she SLAUGHTERED during the group dance portion. I still prefer Hyo though by FAR but I can just see why some wouldn't.

@ShapleyZone she still is. Even SM ranked her as the highest in best dancers. She was ranked the highest out of the other girls in SM. Showing that she is the real Dancing Queen of SM. She ranked even higher than BoA.

Stephanie trained in ballet, and I am very impressed she got into a top dancing school. However, Hyoyeon actually trained in Latin dance and jazz before she turned to hip hop.
I think it's fair to say that she can also control her moves.

Both of their dance wasnt hard at all. But I definitely like Stephanie more cause ballet to me is the hardest type of dance to learn. Ballet is all about posture technique and strength. And if its true that she went into a famous ballet academy or college than it takes skill and years of hard work to do that. You literally HAVE to bleed and break your toes. For her to go from stiff ballet to loose hip hop is VERY hard. Hyoyeon might be a good at hiphop but I don't think she can deal with ballet.

It's really hard to compare Stephanie and Hyoyeon, as they weren't trained in the same types of dancing, nor are their dances similar in this. Stephanie trained in ballet, and Hyoyeon trained in a lot of popping and things like that.

i think stephanie's dancing choreography was just supposed to look sexy but it looks like hyo did more choreography, i agree stephanie is reallly amazing at dancing but i'm more attracted to hyoyeon, to me hyo's dance choreography was harder than stephanie's.
