But... it was cheap compared to other ISS supplying methods. Using only the force you need to send up the supplies is cheaper than sending up Nasa`s shuttle or the russian Soyuz with it.
They gotta send one of those down where I live on New years eve:D
they'd probably be gently tucked in by the g-loading, but one could also expect some sharp ones from the rig exploding (couple 'a hundred pounds of hydrazine, you get the idea... you can see it in the video)
