Review: Make Up Forever HD Foundation & HD Powder

I have been thinking of getting this foundation... I have acne scare to cover on my chin and forehead...and I'm currently using revlon colorstay which I love but I want something more dewy and natural looking. Do you think it will cover acne scars without the need of a concealer?

I got a sample of the powder today but I don't know how to use it. I asked how to use it & the lady just said it a powder & don't put too much or you will look white. Can you explain how to use it better? Also I hear pore this and pore that everywhere but I don't know what pores are or what kinds I have. How do I find out?

@sugerless20 you use the powder after your foundation and concealer and before your blush and any other powders. Pores are the little holes on your face that allow your skin to breath. Try using a magnified mirror to see them clearly. If you can't see them, your pores are probably small.

This foundation is amazing with or without the powder. And the foundation is pricey, but very worth it!

@RafouliG It does oil up throughout the day so its not a mattifying foundation. I think this is better if someone needs it for the coverage and not the oil control ;) For oil control, i love the revlon colorstay for oily/combo skin :)

@LovelyLiars Haven't tried NARS sheer glow, but if you have combo skin, this would be fine for you :)

Great review, I use the MUFE Mat Velvet + right now and I like it alot the only thing I dont like is that while I dont always need as much coverage on the majority of my face but my chin gets red so i like alot of coverage there and the Mat Velvet always gets wiped off my chin throughout the day, im excited to try the HD since I keep hearing how great it is.

how many pumps do you use for a full coverage look?? (: also, would you ever try the HD primer??

@simplicityx0 about 2-3 pumps depending on how you apply it but if you apply with a paddle or ure hands, 1-2 pumps while a stippling brush needs about 3 :) Yes, I have tried the HD primer and like it :) very nice formula but I don't know if its a must have product :)

I ansolutley love the hd foundation. I use it on my clients and luv it!!!! very good for weddings! but theres nothing like airbrushing!!!lol!! you can also use hd foundation for airbrushing, but theres so much you have to add to it to work. too much work!!! lol!
