You’re submitting to drug companies and marketing campaigns that are triumphing over true medical science. Let’s say you are correct about your hypothesis, then all mood disorders would be 100% cured by a pill that replaces, increases production of, eliminates, or decreases production of certain neurotransmitters (see serotonin, neuroepinephrine, etc) which they CAN do.

The chemicals (see adrenaline) are in the system to protect (see sympathetic nervous system) both people.
