what the fuck i expected Steppenwolf who are those guys. Not bad but who the fuck is Hanson and why does they get so much cheering for playing a cover?
If you don't look at them and just listen to the song. They do a pretty good remake. They are talented. They look so much like a boy band it takes away for the fact that they have talent. I still like the Steppenwolf version better. But I grown up with that version so I'm bias.
You guys say what you want, but it really isn't too bad. Guitar mistakes and all. Time is good. Vocals are good. The guitar player is not going to win any awards but his rhythm is pretty good.
lol poo poo. im glad to see some kids are playin covers of good music, but the extent to which this cover sucks balls would give me zero hope for the future if i didnt realize that it was hanson...playing....steffenwolf. poo poo! yay! squeal squeal scream scream!! the estrogen in that room is deafening.
Fantastic - Seeing some young musicians playing and paying respect to those who paved the way - look athe the crowd young and ROCKIN' - Okay now I am old - who is the band playin'
Hey all haters shut the hell up this is a good cover considering they aint your average band the other thing is these guys obviously have their influences in the right spot quit giving them shit.
At least theyre playin some good hard rock instead of some chick music and this is comin from somebody who listens to Bloodrock, Lucifers Friend, Black Sabbath , St. Vitus etc etc etc
My what a long strange trip its been. A song written by a group that stood for counter culture, anti corporate, challenge the establishment sensibilities now being done by a Disney group singing a song about an acid trip to pre to early adolescent girls. Someone should tell these youngsters its not a song from Aladdin. Kay and crew are either laughing or crying right now.
The thing is, they may have become famous at an early age. However, they worked hard for many years to get where they were. They started performing very young, by their own choice, no puppet strings. They own their own label now which tells me that they are doing it for the music. They used to perform outside of bars because they were too young to go inside. They are very dedicated to music.
Yeah, that's why I don't understand why they get knocked so much. I don't care if someone likes their music or not. But to knock them personally. And the funny thing is, that they are so respected in the music business. I heard in interviews Ringo Starr, Bono, and I personally met Billy Corgan, and they've all said nice things about the guys. They've also played with some big names, Mark Hudson, Bob Weir, Brian Wilson, Matthew Sweet, to name a few. The list is long, though.
you think all american's don't like this music? that's called stereotyping. I'm 17 years old and hate today's music(minus a few bands)and I love classic rock. I'm also a musician so I def care for the music
i like all kinds from pop to rock. oldies rock. a little rap but i like kid rock most of all and most people dont like kid rock i will listen to any kind of muisc
man i LOOOOOVE THIS SONG!! the steppenwolf version was always my favourite, never heard the hanson one before. only couple things i'd say is that taylor's mike should be louder cause he's got the melody, and personally i like this song with more bass and kinda funkier. although hanson is the most passionate talented band i've ever witnessed so it doesn't even matter.
he probablt dropped it, or it broke or he cracked it and he had to swap. im a drummer, that happens all the time. but hes not really doing anything too strenuous, so im going with the fact that he probably dropped it.
I think they're pretty good...cut the boys some slack.

I clicked on this thinking "Live at the Fillmore" meant Steppenwolf performing something from 1969, not some Justin Bieber band doing a cover. lol

Nothin' like a 90's teenage pop band covering a hard rock song o.O
They may be older than me but my opinion still stands. This is crap.
