What I extremely dont like in spore is that there are no real space battles. Sure, you have ships that chase you for a bit whil your auto-blasters decimate them, but that is not real. And also, no matter what you do to your ship in the Editor, it wont affect it in the game. Like i could put a massive gun on my ship, but nothing would even come out of it. LIke you said in the description, you may aswell have a flying blob.
@ToXiK97 Yeah, Spore missed a lot of potential. I guess Galactic Adventures kinda makes up for some of the stuff, but none of that is really integrated into Space--it's basically a game in-and-of itself, so. Quack.
@coraclebirdboat Yeah, the 2005 one looked much better, underwater cities, creating a language for first conact, an aquatic stage etc, I hate EA for killing spore. I dont have GA so, Woof.

It could be where you pick what quest/world you want to do and it takes you there for the quest lines of the main story or downloaded story.
Though it could also be where you download entire planets and then visit them, beaming down to greet the locals and such.
In addition it could be both of these in that you will be able to beam down on any planet in addition to picking quest and implementing/making them on existing worlds.
Fight hard enough and they might end up befriending you!
It doesn't mean they still won't attack, because that's what made them like you, just, you know, they'll probably give you warning first and might not kill everyone.
If they attacked you in Space Stage you'd get alerts every 20 minutes and whenever you got to your planet you'd find your uberturrent puttering around and most of your cities decimated. Just like if any other race attacked you in Spore : (

Hehe, true. So Spore will just give the Deddennosaurs a different personality, like those annoying yet peaceful ones. The ones I like blowing up! Lol, just because I like the species doesn't mean I won't kill them.

Well, the expansion really is just Spore, so if you're allowed to have Spore, there's no reason not to be allowed to have the expansion, as it's something you already have =V and that's why I have a race of weasels.

That's cute. This isn't the original deddennosaur planet anyway; I used the evoadvantage to just knock them up to Space stage. Civ and tribe can be really boring at times.
Civ is probably the most boring out of all of them.You just go around getting spice, starting wars or nabbing over nations, and it takes forever to do if you have a limited attention span.
Civ is fun for me because I love the building creator, even though I'm not all that exemplary at it. Although the actual GAMEplay of Civ is, for me, far too quick; it takes way too short a time for me to get through, and that's just terrible. I spend so long in Creature stage, but blow through Tribe and Civ.
It doesn't help that there's not hing to DO in Tribe or Civ other than win; unlike, I guess, The Sims, or such, there's no real social interactions to watch. It's sorta boring.

It could go either way or a mixture of the two.

Caterwairies have a timeline, yeah, but the coraclebirds were made in the creature editor and put in with evoadvantage too.
