There are other historical facts, where you can conclude that Aisha was NOT 9 years old when she married him. These were sincere men and they tried their best to verify the veracity of all people in the chain as well as the content but hadith by themselves is not a proof. You have to collect all the info. There are other historical facts, where you can conclude that Aisha was NOT 9 years old when she married him. Aisha was narrated in most sunni references as being a trouble maker, she began many battles in Islam and Surah 66 of the quran reffers to her and Hafsa, her co-wife. There was a 10 year difference between her and her eldest sister, Asma. Asma died at the age of 100 in the 73rd year of Hijra. This means that at the 2nd year of hijra she was 28, meaning aysha was 28 - 10 = 18 years old. Her hadiths are lies and she was the jelous type who wanted attention (many hadiths prove this)

Even check Bukhari's hadith about Surah Al Qamar (the moon), it said to have been revealed 9 years before hijra, and bikhari puts a note near it saying Aysha was a young girl at the time, so no way was she 9 years old when she was married

Both Aisha and Hisham´s father stated that she was six when she married him. I think she knew better than anyone how old she was. Even if she was nine when marriage consumated, so what, it still makes Mohammed a pedophile as there is clear evidence that he wanted her before that and he desired other children aswell. You don't need to preoccupy your life with criticizing a religion. A lot of these hadiths are known to be corrupted in some way and Muslims can't rely on their information. Mohammad (PBUH) was the most decent, honest, empathic, hard-working man to have ever lived. Men of his degree hardly exist anymore. I think you're a close-minded, dishonest, and uneducated person. I see at as my duty to inform about and criticize religion and other ideologies. Most of the hadiths I am referencing have been deemed "sahih" by Islamic scholars and all of the sahih ones say Aisha was 6 when married to Mo and 9 when marriage was consummated. I think the important thing is that most Muslims do not find the idea of a man having sex with a 9 year old girl acceptable and so it is not a condition of being a Muslim to accept this. Indeed under shariah paedophiles are regularly put to death. There are other factors such as that kings have often been given very young wives who they "protect" until they are old enough for anything previously unsuitable to happen.
