  • that's the fastest a caution has ever been thrown i think. the wreck starts at 3 seconds and the caution is out before 5 seconds.

  • Oh man! I was 5 years old when this happened! I didn't really understand what happened when my dad told me that the next day (After this happened)! I was shocked and I think I started to cry cuse I loved to see F1 and he was my biggest idol! I think so cuse he was swedish...! :/

  • @shixgo you realise that's not F1 right?

  • thats what 240 g forces looks like. sickening.

  • Wow. I bet when he shit his pants it flung all over the track from the centrifugal force.

  • at least the fan in the back row is safe

  • 1:02 cubs lead series 3-1...

  • this crash aint as bad as briscoes at chicagoland in 2005.

  • @schumachertimesrossi Not until you figure that this is the highest amount of G's ever recorded by a black box.

  • @schumachertimesrossi Did you know this guy broke EVERY bone in his body?

  • dear god, thank goodness IndyCars today are safer than years ago

  • He's not dead.

  • no he broke his back but lived.

  • @mad122780 not only his back :P every bone in the body... He plays guitar now xD

  • apparently Brack experienced 180g when he was spinning.

  • i heard it was over 210g

but whatever it was it was huge

    he was lucky to survive

  • 214

  • i was at that race

  • .............................................

  • Brack is from Sweden

  • i see what your trying to say and what you were thinking but the problem with oval tracks in general is the space they are confined to. If there had been no catch fencing that car would have rocketed into the spectator stands and would have made it an extremely difficult task for rescue crews to reach him. An obvious solution from a safety point of view would be to put in run off area similar to road courses, but then spectators are limited to there view.

  • he exploded!!!

  • Damn.. that's one of the worst accidents I've ever seen

  • I saw this live...

  • man I was ther at the race.

    I could not believe it.

I think this was the year before they went to the smaller engines

  • According to his website the car recorded 214 G's in this crash.

  • he ran the indy 500 a year or 2 ago i believe. he has retired from the IRL but is ok to race if he wants to

  • luckly he survived but his racing carer is over
