@Randy1337 players doing huge raises is not that rare in high stakes poker. we have no way to tell if phil ivey would have reraised with pocket 7s if eli wud not have said anything. If you notice phil was confused for a while and then as soon as eli said he made a mistake he reraised. If phil ivey would have reraised right away you would be right but because Ivey paused, was thinking and THEN acted AFTER eli spoke, it clearly shows Elezra has a big mouth. Look out matusow you've got competition

@Randy1337 It isn't that the bet is way too big. That could have been done on purpose to lure players into thinking it was an accident and getting them in the pot with AA. Eli pointed OUT that it was an accident...that he messed up his stack and didn't mean to bet that big. That is the confirmation that appears to have influenced play.
And wtf is your deal? You comment to everyone as if they said Ivey is an idiot. Stop trolling and read, you may learn something.

@llIIIMademanIIIllll Everything what noremacrep said... blinds are bets. Hence, you RAISE on top of the blind, you do not BET on top of the blind. 3-bets are raises on top of the FIRST RAISE, thus it's like a second raise.

When someone raises like that you can almost guarantee mid pair. Cunningham had 5 4 clubs...who would really want to call that? Mega re-raise? No. Ivey was telling Cunningham he had a small or mid pair through his cards because he knows Cunningham plays rational.
