  • Duct tape was the only method that worked for me a few year ago. I tried pulling it with tweezers, vinegar, burning it with a lighter but nothing worked.

  • @itchyfingers89 Congrats!!! I am so happy it worked for you:)

  • infomercial music. are you selling your toe?

  • @jrmetmoi That is "toetally" silly! LOL!

  • WOW I DIDNT KNOW THIS WAS LIKE AN ARTS AND CRAFTS PROJECT LMAOOO

  • This is the method I used when I was suffering from mosaic plantar warts on the soles of my feet a few years ago. But there isn't a need to be quite so paranoid about cross-infection; although the virus is transmittable from one person to the other via direct contact with broken skin, touching your own warts with your hands won't increase your risk of developing more warts - the virus is already in your bloodstream. Warts can and do pop up all over the body without skin contact.

  • say you touch your wart and then touch your face... can it spread to your face?

  • @pookermit It is a virus, so, it can enter your body through the skin or cuts in the skin. People who walk around barefoot on wet surfaces (like at a public pool or in a locker room) can pick it up on the bottoms of their feet and it works its way into your veins and travels by blood throughout the body. So, I would think it could easily spread to your face. I am still very afraid of it!

    Thank you for watching:)

  • @BirdOfParadise777 The virus specific to plantars warts is not known to spread to different types of skin or locations. I'm not saying it's impossible, but from what I've read, it seems like the virus will only spread to other places on the bottom of your feet. So you just need to be care to not let blood or skin flakes from the wart come in contact with other cuts on your feet. It's definitely a good idea to be careful, but you can probably just be aware of what you touch and be sure to wash up

  • purposes... so instead of taking the cotton ball on and off like said in the video, i left it on for intervals of 3 days then one day off then 3 more days on and etc. I attacked full force with this. It went away soooo quick., all i can say about the other methods is fail.

during the previous treatments (freeze, salicylic acid, or duck tape) more warts developed on my thumb, and i was afraid it would spread on my body. BUT as soon as the first wart was eliminated, the rest just vanished complete

  • @mikevmpr3 I am very happy for you that you found something that worked! You found relief! How wonderful:) Thank you for sharing your story and helping:)

  • Apple cider vinegar was my solution when i had one taht spread to 5 on my thumb. Its like.. when i killed the main wart teh rest kinda just died.

  • @mikevmpr3 Fantastic! Congratulations:) How did you figure out which one was the "main" one?

Thank you for watching and helping:)

  • @BirdOfParadise777 It was the first wart that arose on my thumb... It was not the average bumpy wart, it was embedded in my thumb. Started out has the result of a burn (go figure) I dug at the "burn wound" weeks later and whaddaya know, it developed into a single wart. I tried everything. EVERYTHING. Salicylic acid, dr scholls freeze, and duck tape by itself. eventually i stumbled on a vid about using apple cider vinegar and read up on it. Much to my disbelief, this vinegar is used for medicinal

  • hey i have a problem! mind helping? so i used a combination of lactic acid and salycilic acid. it worked for 3 days. it's not actually forming those circled dead skin around the wart and i think its dead. but thing is, i can still see the white core under my skin, however its not growing anymore. still can't get rid of the core, if i dig it, it will obviously hurt! so any suggestions? thanks!

  • @DreadAces I appologize, I just got your comment today! I decided that if it "looked" like it wasn't working for a few days I was going to keep on using it for at least a week more. I won't be digging or cutting. I hope you have total success with what ever you decide to do:) I can't tell you what to do or decide for you, I'm sorry:( Thanks for watching:)

  • Mine are almost gone! They take away my confidence when I'm wearing sandals and They're embarassing. They don't hurt though. I just use hand sanitizer on them, then wart remover (compound W) and then cover them with tape. After one day, I peel off the wart stuff so it goes down quicker and I get to the bottom, then I just use hand sanitizer on my hands and It really works. I hate it because I have it on the boney part (under the big toe) on both feet, then I have it on the big toe on one foot

  • @fashionbug9880 I appologize, I just got your comment today! Great! Yay! You could try soaking your feet and scrubbing at them to get off as much loose stuff as you can before you cover them again. I use a wash rag to scrubb with and the ones I use I wash in a load by themselvs, I keep them in a plastic bag after I wash them. It's the last load and I don't use the washer for a day or two- don't know how much that helps cause there is some water in it. I feel better:) Thanks for watching:)

  • how deep are planter warts? And can they become dangerous? I heard that if you use canola oil it will eventually come out by the roots, but what if part of it isnt ready to come out yet? also how fast would it take the skin on your foot to heal? would you have to walk around with a whole in your foot? wouldnt that be a bit painfull or even bad for you to some extent? O.o lol i ask alot of questions sorry ^^ XD

  • @kakashi5274 I appologize, I just got your comment today! No prob! Ask away:) Deep depends on how long they've been there, it's dead skin that sticks together and builds up, I think the ACV breaks the "bond" between the dead skin and that's why it "falls apart" and comes off on the tape. I don't know about "dangerous" but I know they can make you miserable with pain. It takes away the dead skin, I don't think it hurts live skin like cutting or picking at it wouild. Thanks for watching:)

  • HPV doesn't work like a normal virus. Normally a virus simply injects its genetic material into the cell and the cell makes more, until the cell bursts, this called the lysic pathway (lyse-to burst). I think HPV works simillar to herpes, in that actually inserts its DNA into the cellular genome, essentialy so that the cell and any of its daugthers will carry HPV DNA. That's why they lie dormant.

  • @Iamtheoverlord89 I appologize, I just got your comment today! Great explanation! Thank you for your help! :) Thanks for watching:)

  • @Temptittude You are totally right about the "tiny black specks!" Some people have shown that they have gone away after a few years but, I wonder because it is a "virus"- how long are they gone for? The virus would have to be killed off first to be able to say, "They are totally gone for good!"

I am hoping that there is a doctor somewhere with enough time on their hands to come up with a cure!

Thank you for watching and commenting:)

  • I've had plantar warts for 14 years, they haven't gone away, i've started trying this on a few of the ones I have. My knee is COVERED so I don't think I can really do this very well, but on the individual ones on my chest and arms and such, i'm trying this.

  • @TomorrowYsera Has a doctor diagnosed them as "Plantar Warts?" Wow! I have never heard of them being in all of those places. I hope you can go to a doctor and find out exactly what it is. Maybe they're something else and could be cleared up or dealt with using a medication. You shouldn't try to treat anything until a doctor tells you "what" it is you have. I don't ever try to diagnose anyone- so many things resemble each other! Take care and thank you for watching and commenting:)

  • furthermore the information i have read about the so called duct tape method is that it should only cover the actual wart and stay in place 6 days at a time basically suffocating the wart.

  • @W4T3RB0TTL3 The problem we ran into with only trying to cover "only the wart" is that there has to be enough "contact" with skin, to hold the tape on and feet are "sweaty".

    Thank you for helping:)

  • had this type of wart when i was a kid, doctor proscribed some foul smelling brown paste to eat away at the wart, it ended up making things worse and i couldnt barely walk. after a couple years they went away. recently i have new ones and they seem to be spreading yet i dont use public facilities and clean my bathroom with hot soapy water then bleach, ive yet to find a painfree solution for removal. waiting is not the best idea however, a little pain now is better than a lot of pain later.

  • @W4T3RB0TTL3 The return of them to the "surface" of your skin is because it is a virus and just "getting rid of the visual part" doesn't deal with the virus. No doctor has been able to come up with something to kill off the virus. You'd think they would have by now! The diligent cleaning method you are using is one of the best things you can do. I agree, waiting is not ideal, but it is up to the other person to say when to make the commitment. Thank you:)

  • the plantar warts can go away after two years or longer, because eventualy you become immune to them

  • Thank you for the help! :)

  • i have one on my heel and ive had it for about 4-5 months

when do u think it will go away??

  • Some people say the ones they had went away by themselves and other people have had to do something to make them go away. It is caused by a virus and spreads around your skin using your blood vessels. That's why they are so hard to get rid of. But, I think the smaller they are the easier it is to get rid of them. I know of one person who is alergic to the glue on the tape!

It's best to see your doctor and know you are getting good advice! :)

    Thank you for watching:)

    I wish you the best!

  • its not exacly pain free but my uncle had one on his finger and he got his lighter and burned finger where the wart was so the you woul get a watery sortof bubble on you skin under the wart the he just ripped it off realy fast god it looked like it hurt

  • i dont remember going to any wet public place but i got 3 warts on my feet. :(

  • Sorry:(

Could've been years ago like when you were younger you went to a friends house and a bunch of you guys were playing in the sprinkler and running around on the sidewalk~if your friend happend to have warts, you could've gotten them then. In a public place the odds are greater. I found out the virus can be in your system for a long time before it shows up as warts.

Or the showers at school. Or a shower at your Uncle's house. People won't tell you they have them. They're too embarrassed.

  • i got one now =( i would really wish that it would go away

  • I hope that for you:)

I have heard that for some people they will go away on their own after a few years. These have been there for about ten years now.

  • people should not be ashamed of having these warts because nobody wants to have them in the first place.

  • That is so true. Many people get them from the public swimming pool just walking around in bare feet. Doctors are saying to wear "flip flops" or sandals any where there is a wet surface because the virus can live on them for days.

  • the shame is, that's where I got them in the first place. I didn't even want to go to that swimming pool. sigh*!

  • I wish they'd come up with a way to get rid of the virus for good!

  • I hope your friends warts go away, its good to know that you're helping your friend.

  • Thank you:)
