sarah's sister is actually the grudge in the grudge 2 because she went through everything that kayaoko did and if you watched the grudge 2 there was basically 3 stories the sister, the appartment, and the 3 school girls and people are like oh that doesnt make sense but you just have to watch it at least twice because it does makes sense and so does the grudge 3 if you actually pay attention to the movie

The Grudge 3 was absolutely terrible!

If you're a fan of the first two, this was shit..

They switched out the actors, moved till a whole new location.

You don't just switch the actors out? And moving it to America?

Some of the scariest shit in that film was the house and the whole jaoanese grusge thing! Not to mention the girl who played Kayako was amazing - and of course as mentioned, she was switched out.

That's what happens when you change the director after 2 movies... not working..

.... you know as many years as i've watched and been afraid of this movie. (well, the first one anyway) I never stopped to ask... what exactly does she do to the people? like do they just dissapear when she catches them? But they should have stopped making more after the two first ones since the old director wasn't directing the 3rd one, and the american director decided to change pretty much the entire plot. I wish the japanese director had continued..

@Asabasgurl well, in The Grudge 2, one of the 3 girls who went into the house (forgot the name >.>) is wearing a hoodie, and is getting pulled in the hoodie by (Kayako? the boy? 0__o' idk), but anyways, after the boy lifts the shirt in a way like 'wtf happened?' , there are arms and a head coming out... The head looks kinda the same as the girl who was pulled in the shirt... so maybe its like a virus? Anyone who went into the house, becomes some kind of undead thing scaring/killing everybody??

I liked it when Takako Fuji portrayed Kayako in the films. Aiko Horiuchi is terrible in playing Kayako. Takako makes scarier noises and faces than Aiko.

The grudge 3 is probably the worst horror movie ive ever seen. REAALLYY bad acting. THe movie movie has been americanized, so there isnt that asian dark mystic atmosphere. The first 2 movies were great, but this one is so so so lame. It deservers 1 star, for the funny part. I couldn't agree more. I was really disappointed :/ I thought that the excess of gore also took away from the third movie. Implied death is much more frightening that blood and guts flying all over the place, I think.
