I left a depostit on a car and signed form that i will purchase car along with extended warrantee. The price for the car is 10k and the price for extended wanrantee is $2,800. Im can not afford the warantee and have till next week to buy car or i will lose my 4k deposit. Can dealer do this. i want to just buy the car that is all. I don't want warrantee.
wait untill your manafratures is up dont get one befor it starts the same day so you now have two warrantys going at the same timee you just got ripped
US FIDELIS is a broker & is being investigated by Attorney General in Missouri & numerous other states.
Previous business names are Dealer Services & National Auto Warranty Services. Name change occured in December 08.A law firm in St. Louis Casey & Devoti has a class action lawsuit against them on behalf of victimized customers.
Do a Google/Yahoo search to find attorney's website. Better Business Bureau shows USF has " F" rating. BBB site shows all business aliases.
Ask yourself why the dealership pushes the warranty so hard.
If you were to buy an extended warranty on say, your TV, car, blender, toaster, iPod, dvd player, and fridge then your TV stops working 6 months out of the box. Yes they MAY replace the TV, but you are still out money in the long run.
They make money on the extended warranty. They are no obligated to offer it, but it is extra money in their pockets. For instance a friend broke his cell phone and the provider tried to fix it, but when it was determined it wasn't fixable they wouldn't replace it. Yes he had the extended warranty. His phone less than six months old. He spent a little over $300 CDN on it. He learned his lesson to not get extended warranty.
