I especially hate the quick scopers that blow it for your team in SND when they are the last alive and they get fucking wasted because they try to quickscope the entire fucking enemy team... Then when you say "Hey you suck" they ALWAYS reply with "FUCK U IDIOTE IM AM A QUIKE SCOPER, 1V1 ME 1V1 I PAWN U" so you do 1v1 them, but pull out a UMP because they never said I had to use a sniper... Fucking fanboy faggots
@Billdritt75 Perhaps... it's entirely possible. On Rush Hour if you're a Sniper who just finds a high spot near the spawn to camp and snipe the middle road, it's entirely possible.
But, I promise you, if I have the opportunity to spot your location and skirt around on the sides, my assault rifle's bullets WILL find your forehead.
*chuckle* All joking aside, I respect the asset a good sniper can be... on MY team. Point is it's just as easy to be a good sniper as a good run'n'gunner
@RantingRamsay Yes, i,m a sniper on Battlefield (my favourite games are Battlefield :P). But in Battlefield, we hide and spot people, saving peoples ass from being killed. I find it very funny when people blame sniping at games and not knowing how much we save people. Ofcourse it's easier in a game, that's why it's a game: for joy. Anyways, try Battlefield or ArmA with bullet time/drop. It really takes skill to play on long distances (yes i,m talking in this reply about those games.) - Robin
Sniping is easy!. QuickScoping takes alot of skill, but the tilly is amazing gun, and i use it alot just because i no it fucks people off when you own them with it. but yeah Socom sniping takes no skill at alll, but call of duty sniping and quickscoping takes alot of skill.
you make a good point, i disagree that fps sniping takes no skill however anyone can get kills with the tilly. i mean its a fucking noob gun, i use the L96 because its a real sniper weapon. so yea fuck the tilly but try using an L96 and post a rant saying that snipers have no skill? i think you will find that it a bit tougher using bolt action but i feel that its a fair compromise for the extra accuracy.
the broken arm has nothing to do with anything with video games. i played socom with a cast that went from my wrist to my elbow for about 4 months. now that that's outta the way, the sasr isn't an assault rifle, it's a sniper rifle. oh ya, and you're a 30 + year old that lives alone and plays video games all day without a job apparently since you play until 2 in the morning and you're making this video instead of being at work. some successful life you have there buddy.
Nice try at trying to make me feel bad though. However, you're nothing and nobody to me, so why should I care about your opinion? Oh, that's right.. I don't.
@RantingRamsay ...not only that if you're "ranting" you obviously care about other people's opinions. Don't be mad that people are better than you douche
@RantingRamsay LOL stop trying to be a pretentious cunt you're just mad that people are better than you. I bet you're in a clan with a bunch of black guys, and call people scrubs all day, and say you murk them loolololololololololol
Sniping on Battlefield Bad Company 2 is actually kind of hard since even though there are tons of places to hide, most of which places are too fucking hard to see any enemies to kill and the game actually has gravity so even though you are aiming strait at them it doesn't mean that you will still be able to hit them some times you need to aim up.
However one thing that annoys me is that in some of the levels it is practically impossible to attack them if they are in a certain area of the game. Of cores the fun thing about that is that when they do that it just means to beat them all you have to do is just hide from their point of view and just kill the other enemies as they come into to try and arm the M-com stations. Of cores even if you are hiding they can still use a mortar strike to destroy the things around you. / :
I cant agree with you on this one. sniping isnt the same in every game. like sniping in call of duty you dont have a fully steady aim. if you snipe you need the skill to spot everything in your screen, also a skilled sniper in a game can also no-scope in case of close combat. making headshots also requires some skill if there is pressure on the sniper, since they need to shoot fast. i never use a sniper myself since i think its a boring weapon. but not skill-less
@tacob0 You are more than welcome to your viewpoint, but I have this to say/repeat in rebuttal: If I can snipe efficiently with a broken arm, anyone can.
Plus, most of the skills you name are also possessed by assault gunners (NOT to be confused with run-n-gunners).
1.If I'm an assault gunner, I need skill to spot my target, especially if I'm hunting snipers.
2.Assault gunners and pistoleers do nothing but noscope.
3. Headshots are easier when the head fills the screen (continued)
as they do with sniper scopes. Headshots are hard with an assault rifle at the same distance.
It will always be far easier to snipe someone because more than half the time the enemy doesn't even know you're there. There's no danger=no risk. You don't need skill to stay alive when there's no risk.
The aim it takes to be a sniper is possessed by everyone out there who can efficiently use any other gun in the game.
There's this one very nerdy kid at my school who thinks he's a badass cuz he can snipe like a pro in MW2. Hell, he thinks he's great at everything in the game. To me, you don't really need any skill whatsoever playing MW2, but that's just my personal opinion.
And boy, I swear that kid knows way too much about guns. Kinda scary. For me, I usually don't even know the name of the gun when I'm playing shooters, although I do know gun-type. But I'm learning.
@cartelthebest I'll hate myself in the morning for this one...
To unlock the Tilly, you must go to "Armory", then "Specializations".
Once there, set your primary weapon specialization as "Sniper Rifle", and your secondary as whatever you want (it doesn't matter as it pertains to getting the Tilly).
Once you've done that, then all you have to do is get kills with any sniper rifle. Kills with your primary spec. (sniper) will get you 2 CE points each. Once you have enough CE in your (continued)
@RantingRamsay primary weapon specialization, you will unlock the Tilly.
Just make sure you don't change your primary specialization once you've unlocked the Tilly or you will have to unlock it all over again. You can only have ONE Specialized weapon (Alice, Tilly, Vera, Gladys, etc) unlocked at a time. Once you change the specialization you lose the weapon.
To be honest, I really hope you don't go and do the whole athiest vs christian thing. Both sides are as bad as each other with these youtube drama things. It's just pointless. Just my opinion. Anyway, on the subject matter, I agree completly. It irks me when you see idiots with names like XxSn1PeSh0TxX and they claim to be amazing. Although it is quite funny to kill them with a grenade launcher for their camping ways.
In battlefield bad company 2 it isn't so easy. Every sniper has different bullet drop so you have to account for each individual rifles drop. Now its not perfectly accurate/real world sniping and it shouldn't be it's a game if it was real world sniping it probably wouldn't be too fun.
@James1803 Haven't played that one yet, though the idea of accounting for the gravity on a long-distance shot intrigues me. I may have to rent this and check it out.
And I agree, if games were dependent upon exact, real-world weapon physics they would not be nearly as fun (and most people don't realize that fact).
However, I am looking forward to the days when pixels and character-boundaries are precise enough to make line-of-sight a viable rule in gaming. lol no more corner-turning bullets.
Holy shit, Seth Green! Just kidding. Anyway, I as well hate people who think that just because they can move a joystick in a few directions and press buttons it makes them a l33t g4mur (ugrrgrgh). I want to see them try and play a real difficult game, like...school.
@IntricateMadman3k lol I think that's the first time anybody's said I remind them (visually, I assume?) of Seth Green. With the ginger-esque face stubble, though, I can kind of see it. lol
Yeah, I haven't really touched on the "online tough-guy" thing yet, but will probably do one soon as I have a lot of time on my broken hand lately with not being cleared to go back to work. A lot of old gaming pet-peeves are coming back to haunt me lately, so I'll probably rant about that one soon...
@metlguitar02 actually no, I don't think I've ever played a Counterstrike game. Correct me if I'm wrong, please, but aren't those primarily PC games? If so, that would explain why I haven't played them, as I generally prefer to do most of my online gaming on console due to simplicity.
Not that I have anything against online PC gaming, don't get me wrong. I used to love Command and Conquer Renegade, I just like the convenience of console gaming.
Yeah, CS is mainly a pc game. It was ported on the original xbox, but I can't attest to it's quality..it probably sucked. As far as fps games go, you might want to try one, perhaps a call of duty game since you are already familiar, and see how much better a mouse/keyboard control is compared to a controller. You have way more control and it feels much more natural. If you have a decent computer you should try it out, ramsay.
@metlguitar02 Oh, I have CoD modern Warfare for my PC, as well as a few classics like Doom3 and Rainbow Six. I do enjoy the mousce-keyboard setup (I have an Ideazon Merc keyboard and Ideazon Reaper Gaming Mouse), I just sometimes get very impatient with PC games when it come sto patches and updates, as I am only partially computer-savvy and sometimes have difficulty making sure all my settings are right and file extensions in the right place. I'm sure I could figure it out, but I'm lazy. lol
