It's not against the law to say ANY of these things. But do you think for one minute he could effectively function as governor?

They were right to impeach him. His credibility is GONE, and the overwhelming majority of Illinois voters WANT...HIM...OUT.

That's different because the evidence would be in front of the House. Currently the Illinois house has no evidence; only the Feds saying that they have evidence.

And a state legislature can impeach a governor for whatever reason it deems fit, whether or not criminal. I'm not saying they're in the wrong, just unwise.
