and understand why he said we shouldn't believe it. I remember him saying there were rumors
that his health was poor but that we shouldn't believe the rumors. I noticed as he sang his songs,

i seen him in 74 and in 76 with my mother lol'they where great shows i remember a lady running up on stage and grabbing him and she would'nt let go boy she had a grip.he will always be the king of rock and roll

I heard Elvis sing "Hurt" live at the Spectrum stadium in Philadelphia, PA on May 27, 1977 (I'm not positive about the day but it was definitely May, 1977)...not long before Elvis died. It was a great experience! I swear the stadium was vibrating when Elvis hit the high note..the applause was deafening! He definitely was the greatest singer of the 20th, or any other, century! **********

in our hearts. I never got to see in person

@Maureen712 Elvis was in Binghamton, NY on May 27, 1977--a Friday...left NY that night for Phila. Your concert must have been on May 28th!! (He sang Hurt on the 27th too, and I know what you mean about the stadium-- shook like nothing I've ever experienced!!!)

@Maureen712 it would have been on the 28th at the spectrum 8.30pm start time and i bet he looked the part wearing his mexican sundial suit, you were one of 18,850 lucky people who got to hear the King that night. i have just listened to Tucson 76 recording and he sang Hurt two times in succession!!!!!!

This is definitely one of the greatest songs ever written and Elvis easily has the very best renditions of it. Elvis definitely put all of his heart, fire, passion and soul into this song. Elvis definitely had a voice like no other. Elvis will definitely always be #1. This video was absolutely perfect in every way, 10 Stars as always Jackie.
