Yo SSaudio1 nice shit you have here. I been considering SSA's myself, as well as some incriminator's. Thing is, I don't know how anybody could say that Kicker W7s, or JL subs are better than SSAs. JL subs aren't worth the money they're asking for them, when you can get a custom made sub and pay hundreds less, and are way louder.

5*s on the system I'm really impressed with the SSA subs I couldn't fit a 18 in my car but a 15 will be perfect fit... I will definitely be looking for this sub in the near future.

To Mr. Flee.....first of all, the xcon12" is in an enclosure that i personally got from mark fountain himself.....so it should be perfect and right the specs of the xcon. so stop trying to school me on enclosure specs...and the w7 is to the specs that i got from JL Audios subwoofer engineers. so ask before u start assuming stuff. and ive seen ur system, and its jus funny to me that u supposably know ur shit and u have that junk in ur trunk. hav a good christmas....

i think the high bass notes sound like shit dude. i personally think you could have chosen a better set of subs. those are too big. i guarantee i could get 2 or 3 10 inch subs to sound way better and deeper. you should think about the 12" cadence daytona sub. they claim 1500 rms. dont know how true that is though. probably a lot cheaper then this crap you wasted your money on. sorry dude buy you got your ass ripped off. they probably charged you way to much for this system to huh??

yes it is a 13.5 but its max wattage is 750, and the ssa xcon is 1500 max. so i think its quiet reasonable. to compare a 13'' to the ssa 12''

im sorry for stating that the max wattage was 1500, when really its 1750 RMS...but one thing for sure is that a 12''xcon is not better than a 13w7 jl....i have a JL AUDIO 1000/1 running to each voice coil on my w7 and beleive me, its very loud and deep bass....when i hooked up the same two amps to the xcon, i did not get the performance like i did with the w7, and i know my shit when it comes to systems. i mean yes, the xcon was ok, but nothing compares to the RAW POWER of JL AUDIO

@The1883 IF you really did what you said, then this is what ill tell you. The Xcon, and the W7 both have different boxes they work best in. Maybe the box you had the w7 in was perfect for it but not for the Xcon. Build the right box for the Xcon then give your opinion..

ssa a xcons are ok, but w7s sound much more cleaner and more harder. i sold my old w7 13inch and bought a 12 inch xcon. ooh, was that a mistake! i had 2000 watts rms runnin my w7 and i put the same 2000 watts to my new xcon. i even built the box to specs. and i was not too impressed...so ima sell the xcon and save up a lil mor money to purchase a new 13w7
