Yes, leather is another problem that is not as easily solved, but the fur trade is something that we have the ability to stop- it is completely supply and demand based, and there is no NEED for fur- the only thing it is used for in large numbers is CLOTHES which is ridiculous and unnecessary.

@Jakay89 And fur is cheap and easy to come by. Don't think that all you need to do is just weave some clothes out of plants or shear some wool! That takes a LOT of time and effort, which is something that many people in the world do not have. Of COURSE today, here in America where you have more money you can NOT buy fur products. Tell me, if you were in Africa and you were extremely poor: Had a choice between 2 things: One cheap, large fur vest, cap and leggings.

Artic fox raised for fur and yes Chinese people eat dogs and cat and reptiles as well as whatever they can get for meat...one has to eat whats available in thier area...its called life cycle..I would rather see the foxes kept in better conditions but in the end they are being used ..and not just skinned and thrown away...
