Is this the modern way to play washers. In Mexico we have playing this game; but we used holes on the ground. We called the game guachas (probably the mexicanized name for washers). Anyhow, I remember playing this game in Juarez back in the 1950's.
@pr8412 : I have heard of people playing this game with just holes in the ground also, some ppl will dig the hole and put an empty can in it so the hole stays the same size and doesn't get wrecked.

we play this game but we call it Washews, and the boards are a little bit closer. But we play it the same.
